well you have famous brands such as
lavera, weleda, dr.hauschka, logona, Heliothop, anne marie börlind, biokosma, melvita, avalon organic botanicals... origins also yes.
All these above mentioned brands are really good. they have everything from shampoos, soaps, creams, to make up. you should really try them. Just for the smell of the ingredients, it's like aromatherapy in itself! i love it.

Thanks! I'll begin by Origins... Dr. Hauschka is well know here in Italy, I didn't know it was organic. Good idea.

yes lebanese olive oil soap is good but dries the skin. so you need to use moisturizers afterwards. better not to use it on the face too often. once a week or twice is enough. in europe they call it le savon d'alep :) unfortunatly we don't export our soap.

claudia, origins is not organic, they use some natural products BUT with chemicals and preservatives which all the other brands i mentioned DON'T.
But The good news is Origins launched a new line of cosmetics - Organic Origins- as people are more oriented towards it so they felt obliged i guess.
If you want to start with origins i advice you their organic range of products.

Yeah the lebanese soap is definitely great because its rich with natural substance.. but it dries the skin just like u said.. However, at least u'll be sure that it won't cause any cancer due to preservatives and stuff.. just use a hydrating creme afterwards and don't use it much for your facial skin.

I bought this last weekend a Baume pour les levres of Nuxe. I love this brand, they have very soft shampoos (Reve de miel). This a naturalist brand, they use a lot of plants on their product's composition.

when it comes to hair, i prefer l'oreal (kerastase), i got their daily shampoo for colored hair, apres shampoing, and the gamme they have to protect your hair before and after you swim (spray, cream,,,) and the shampoing apres soleil!

I bought last week a new facial ncream by YSL called Touche Matt. It is meant for oily skins. It is applicable before your put on your make up and gives your skin a matt look for a longer time.

I didn't feel it was as effective as I thought it would be! Too bad :(

Try clinique pore minimizer. It's very good for what you describe.
