Its very valid. Maybe you didnt look at the context of the reply. I wasnt advocating breasts removal, its one of few good things about u girls :P

I was simply replying to people who said that if something isnt essential, then removing it as prevention for diseases is ok.

Now not every woman breastfeeds. Plus, breasts removal eliminates risk of breast cancer totally (while circumcision in the most optimistic study, cuts it in half). Plus breasts cancer isnt easy to prevent by a healthy lifestyle, while HIV is totally preventable with a minimum of awareness.

But like i said, im against both so dont yell at me!

Stella i dont think youll find men here who had it at an adult age. Its quite rare. I dont think any of us can imagine sharp objects around a 10 m radius of it let alone go willingly to have a surgery.

circumcision was thought to reduce infections but the latest studies
showed no significant changes
result:it is a sadistic act performed by the doctor at the demand of the dads
to make their male child similar to them

Men circumcision is not common in Europe, most european men aren't circumcised. It is widely done in the middle east, which explains why it is associated with judaism & islam.

An interesting addition:

When and why was routine neonatal circumcision introduced in English-speaking Western countries?

Doctors in the English-speaking countries started circumcising babies in the mid-1800s to prevent masturbation, which some doctors claimed caused many diseases, including epilepsy, tuberculosis and insanity. Of course, these arguments are not accepted today.

Stella, that was what they used to tell us in catechism. It is completely rubbish. And that guys become impotent.. ( just off topic, to say that sometimes any religious brainwash gone of the edge is only to induce fear and complex!!)
You ask if people can testify what's the difference before and after? As LebanesePride mentioned, it is quite impossible to find an adult "cobaye" (guinea pig) for this atrocity nowadays!
I can only tell you about my modest experience with men and there is a HUGE difference if talking about sensitivity, performance, self confidence etc.. Men are always obssesed with their ***** :) so why make it more problematic for them?! Haram..Whether it could do any good to men/ women or not ( which i'm sure it can't!!) as i said in a previous post I am completely against this sadistic defiguration of the human's body considering that you are violating the baby's rights as a free individual!!

Inanna, why are you differenciating between man and woman. That's sexist. No one should go under the knife for this!!
I can tell you this : Hygiene can be achieved by washing! So simple.
If in the old times, diseases were more common and this practise was essential I don't think that it should be a problem now, with all what the chemical industry ( in my case natural products) has to offer in terms of cleaning agents. :)

Thanks Marisha for your honest reply!
You know exactly bc of men are obsessed with their *****, they are willing to give in to their environment's pressure. Like what if they find that circumcision is trendy, or it would give them more masculinity, or maybe just women pressure them that they like men better circumcised? Well surely there are cases when an adult man went under circumcision, I think plastic surgeons can do that with less suffering. What if it will be a trend like for girls the silicon ****?

i don't think men would go that far for fashion and trends! :)

many men who go through circumcision in a latter stage of their lives is because they probably have some trouble down there when they're performing...

=================

In a study in the New England Journal of Medicine, they suggest the health benefits could be because circumcised men are less likely to pick up the human papillomavirus (HPV.

They suggest the virus is responsible for up to 99% of cases of cervical cancer.
