Never say never..
there comes a time, when you will love someone strongly enough, genuinly enough, and purely enough to realize that what is best for them does not necessarily have to be you..

your honour is more important to you than any love? who do you love the most in your life?

I want to ask this, and I just want to make sure it's not taken the wrong way, it's highly hypothetical, and not suggestive at all.
..but what if, your mother, whom you love strongly, happens to cheat.. what would your reaction be, and do you think you would react the same way had it been your wife ?

I dont need you to answer to this, but just think about it, if your reaction differs from mother to wife, then it is more of an ego issue.. just be true to yourself.. I understand sometimes society makes you do things you don't want to do, but you should be able to think those things over and figure out which are right and which are not.

God help her!!! I'm sorry If I sound like a bad man, but I don't play around with sertain issues.

(NOTE: being oppend minded does not give anybody the right to disrespect themselves and others)
And you are lecturing Bepseh? Whether his mentality is backwards in your opinion or anybody else's opinion in that matter, it is his opinion after all.
Bepseh is not alone in the way he thinks... he is a member of a majority in Lebanon... he believes in the right to preserve his honor, and would go to the extreme of killing to do that.

When Kamikaze says "God help her," how different is it from killing? Is dragging her through courts and making a big deal in society out of it different from actually killing her? I am not saying it is the same here, but I am suggesting that different people have different methods of punishment.

If society finds out that Bepseh's wife is cheating on him, he'll be butchered alive! He'll be always humiliated in his circle, because this is the society that he was brought up in and got his beliefs from! To him, the death of his wife, is more tolerable than his social death! Do not argue with me about this point, cause this is not my idea, but rather the idea of a large portion of the Lebanese society.

Stop attacking Bepseh for this... try to fundamentally change Society with education.
Bepseh's crime (which he still has not commited yet--thank God) does not differ from the crime of the father who kills his daughter for loosing her virginity...

I once read of a father who killed his 6 month old baby cause she was crying sooo hard by banging her head against the wall. He got frustrated with her and killed her. The Lebanese court did not force him to stand trial, and proclaimed it an accidental death!

I am not supporting Bepseh with his idea. Bepseh, I think your claim is unnecessary, and you need to realize that you need to change this way of thinking. If you cannot tolerate the bad and the good that might result from a marriage, do not get married... If you are not willing to take the risks, do not gamble. You do not want to terrorize the poor girl you wish to marry. Afterall, this is a crime... anyway you look at it.

I invite everyone to take one step back, and look at the Lebanese society that is still engrossed in such a mentality.. It is time to change all that. That is the main reason I want to become a teacher.

Abir ward no one is attaking no one not me any way i have the right to ask Bepsheh to elaborate more and to make him talk about this issue !!! thats how we can little by little exchange new ideas and improve things dont u think so ? he sure have his believes but my question is how come its ok to accept BEPSEH frustration and his will to kill instead of divorce ? why its a big shame if a woman is a cheater and its ok if the man cheat ? the society will not make a big fuss of it if it was a man cheating on his wife doing el sab3a ou demeta it will be just fine he is a man and its about Honor when it comes to a woman ???? noooo noooo nooooo im lebanese and from where i come we deal with this issue in a civilized proper human way .. we separate => we divorce point a la ligne ...

BEPSEH im still waiting for ur answers i hope u can deal with me in a respectfull way i was up to now very patient and asked without any bad intentions ur explanations but seems ur avoiding the answer !!! mayb cause u think im a woman and its not worth answering a logic question coming from a woman ????? any way ..... its ur call ur free to ignore me but remember i was intersted to discuss humanly this issue but u keep wanting to answer those insulting posts instead of analyse the issue in a decent civilized way ... good luck !!!
I am not trying to skip your question but I was little busy.
Now answering your question , why would I cheat if I can marry another woman ? but lets say that I cheated on my wife by committing adultary then she have the right to kill me! am I clear?
