consider this.. perhaps you both cheated because you are both weak, (which is a characteristic of undiciplined ppl) would you kill each other??

how would that help the situation

or is that you are mistaking your honor to being your Ego.. theirs a biG difference.. because when you think of ego.. ure being completely selfish.. honor is a different matter

Lets say you both cheated.. and instead of killing each other for EGO.. you decided to come clean iwth each other.. ask for Fogiveness wholeheartedly from Allah and from yourselves, and commit to not repeating that mistake.. to repenting and making a positive change

and if you actually do iron out ur differences and mangage to transcend the petty reasons for which you have cheated in the 1st place..

wouldnt that be a better alternative.. for you, your wife, your family and your children.. including your honor??

killing for a noble a reason like freedom, honour,self defense,justice ect... is considered a noble act!!! you cannot be totally against or with killing , killing is relative.
and yes Bodhisattva god is forgiving , he might also forgive satan for his acts , but I am just a little human being and when I marry a woman thats mean I trust here and I consider here part of me and she have no reason to betray me , and if I was sexualy impotent (like some members here were implying) she can just ask for divorce and leave me!!

i will reply to ur question Coralie i think its wrong both sides...why cheating occuring more in lebanon than other western countries it coz churches dont allow divorces and give u heck of time and money to divorce...i think cheating both sides is lack of love one partner looking for something he or she had 1st year of marriage then vanished sparkle of love care and attention and respect when all these factors demolish the other partner look for another partner to satisfy his or her needs i dont think its only sex they are seeking but love...some people born with that animal instict strong desire for sex i cant condamn them...but i think that maronite churches should work on letting people who disagree together to divorce and live their lives again i dont think people cheat because they want to its because they lack love in their lives...so before anything added i cant judge people who cheat as whores but i think no matter what they do there is a reason behind that
