The Orange Room Administration reserves the right to suspend or terminate the access of any participant to the forums at our sole discretion, at any time, and without a previous notification, if we feel it is in the interest of our community.

Forum Rules:
1 - Links & Articles in the Political Forum, Blogs and Social Groups
It is completely against the Forum Rules to post links to other Political Websites (This contains: Other Lebanese Political Parties Websites, Political News Websites, Newspapers, Political Blogs and Forums).
Posting Articles, Interviews or News from any other website or online newspaper is only allowed after clearance from the Administration. When you want to post any article, interview or news, you should first contact the Administration and provide a copy of your article or a link and wait for a clearance.
2 - Discussing Other Forums
What happens on other Forums should remain in the other Forums. Links to other forums as well as the discussion of these forums in the Orange Room is completely prohibited.
3 - Profanity and Obscene Language
Profanity and/or sexually explicit language is prohibited. Please refrain from using any vulgar language that would offend anybody. Inappropriate words will be edited out, and sometimes entire posts will be deleted as deemed necessary. This includes implying profanity through the use of acronyms.
The same applies to User Names. Accounts with inappropriate user names will be deleted.
4 - Flaming (inflammatory speech)
Any speech or inference, direct or indirect, that constitutes (i) a personal attack against another individual or group, (ii) offending discrimination based on, among others, race, nationality, religion, sect, gender, age, economic class, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, and familial status, is prohibited. Do not insult other users for their ideas/opinions no matter how ridiculous they may be. Sarcastic remarks should be avoided.
5 - Illegal Activities
Using the Orange Room for illegal purposes, in support of illegal activities, or to encourage conduct that would constitute a criminal offense (as determined by Lebanese Law, unless where the Lebanese Law contradicts International Human Rights as per the UN's Human Rights Charter) is prohibited under all circumstances. The Forum Administration reserves the right to cooperate with legal authorities and/or injured third parties in the investigation of any suspected crime or civil wrongdoing.
6 - Attempting to Defraud
Creating false information/identity with the intent of harming others and/or receiving benefits as a result is completely prohibited. This includes registering with multiple accounts.
7 - Adult Content
Any content submitted by a member containing any adult material will result in a non-negotiable and permanent ban.
8 - Advertising or SPAM
Unsolicited promotion of other websites or products is considered spam. Although there are times when a link to another site is necessary to help answer a question, The Orange Room Staff reserves the right to determine what is and what is not SPAM.
What is SPAM? 9 - Personal Information
Posting personal information about Forum Members (names, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, or any other personal information) without their consent, is completely prohibited. In the same vein, do not ask for personal information from others. Discussion threads and posts that request members to submit personal information to another party will be removed. Information that would be considered personal include, but are not limited to home phone numbers, names, and birthdates. If a member has to give out this information for any reason, he/she should do so privately via a private message.
In addition, a member should never give out his/her forum username or password to anyone, and he/she should not disclose server logins and/or passwords to anyone other than The Orange Room Staff for the sole purpose of either changing this information or requesting any kind of assistance with the management of his/her account. The Staff cannot be held responsible if a member discloses such information to anyone else.
10 - Meaningless & Short Posts
Meaningless and/or short posts will be deleted. Short posts that add no pertinent value to the overall discussion, one-on-one personal chat sessions, and pointless posts are forbidden. As for the personal one-on-one chat posts, members should use their private messages for the purpose of communicating with each other, and should keep the threads for general address. However, quoting other members and replying to them directly in a pertinent or relevant fashion is permitted.
11 - Private Conversation
All the above rules apply to the “Private Messages.” If and when the staff receives a complaint from a member involving a private message, an investigation and proper action will take place.
12 - Blogs, Albums, Social Groups, Usernames and Avatars
Blogs, Albums, Social Groups, Usernames, Avatars and any other content submitted by the members in any area within The Orange Room should respect rules and guidelines.
13 - Off-topic Posts
Off-topic posts are not acceptable. Any post that is not related to the main subject of a thread will be immediately deleted. A member should either open a new thread to discuss his/her new idea, or find a thread corresponding to what he/she wishes to discuss.
14 - Synonymous Threads & Posts
New Threads containing the same subject and content of other threads will be merged with their corresponding threads. Also, avoid repetition and the multiple posting of the same post in different threads.
15 - Posting in Arabic
When posting in Arabic, one should use Arabic font. Posting Arabic sentences in Latin font is not allowed. However, short Arabic statements written in Latin font are tolerated. Transliteration of proper-names, article titles, newspapers, journals, and magazines’ names are accepted.
16 - Abbreviations & Titles
The Orange Room is not a chat room, members are requested to avoid using abbreviations as much as possible, as they might not be understood by other members. Moderators reserve the right to edit or delete such posts/abbreviations. Also, titles should reflect the content of their corresponding threads. For example, titles such as “Unbelievable,” “What do you think?” and “Oh my God” are unacceptable. Please articulate titles properly to project a clear idea of the thread’s content.
17 - Links & Articles in non-Political Forums, Blogs and Social Groups
Including links to other websites in threads and posts is allowed as long as the link doesn’t contain SPAM, illegal downloads, cracks, adult content, non family-oriented content, terrorism, violence, hate, and discrimination. The Forum staff reserves the right to remove any link if found inappropriate. Linking to commercial websites for free is SPAM -- contact the administration prior to posting such websites for pre-approval.
18 - Complaints about the Forum
Publicly complaining about the Forum Rules and their application, or publicly asking for explanations regarding post deletion, thread removal, or the ban of another user is prohibited; the forum staff welcomes any comments and complaints as long as they are voiced in private (via private messaging).
