| Anger management : Escaping the anger prison :) -

Do the smallest things set u off? if u are experiencing uncontrollable rage, then i order to stop long term, u've got to get to the root of ur anger :)
- Identify the emotion ur anger covers:
Anger is nothing more than a cover of hurt, frustration or fear, or all three. Try talking abt what u r really feeling without using the word "anger". Instead try saying "im hurt/frustrated/afraid of ..."
- Identify the true source:
what is the real source of ur anger? who is the real culprit? Chances are , its not the ppl or situations u r lashing out at !
- Identify the unfulfilled need:
Instead of raging against ppl, figure out what u can do that is constructive. If u need to risolve an issue with a person u are really angry with, the constructive alternative behavior would be to resolve it. If u need to forgive urself or some1 else, the constructive action would be to forgive.
- Take specific action
Once u have identified ur constructive alternative action, it's important that u take that specific action, as uncomfortable as it may be and MOVE ON. Claim ur right to resolve the source of ur anger and reclaim ur life .
