i will put mikati and safadi. both are somehow neutral and not very sectarian like other sunni leaders
abdu majid rafe3i was a good choice in the past, but he is still stick in the 60s baath iraqi ideas and thoughts. but he is not sectarian at all.
but still commend the respect of the old generation in tripoli, extremely has a good image.
da3ya yakan and da3ya alshahali wow this is great who are you going to support in Tripoli as mou3arada? yakan or alshahal?!

my mother's side was, is and will always be orange

my father's side voted march 14th in 2005, and can't wait for 2009 to show no mercy, orangification

as for friends, FPMers remained FPMers... and few became pro-Hezbollah

Familly :
We vote in Tripoli :
- 4 Votes for FPM
- 1 vote for Hariri

Beirut (Achrafieh):
- 4 votes for FPM

Friends

Several friends of my girlfriend now switched anti FPM because of the Hezbollah alliance. They hate HA.

In her wider circle, several persons were pro FPM and became anti-FPM. At least 10 persons switched. They vote in Kessrwan + Metn.

Also in Achrafieh, my mother has a shop.. and while I hear conversations, I can see that people dont like GMA. All these people are for M14 because of Hezbollah mostly.
2 persons switched from FM to FPM due to what the Salafist did in Achrafieh during the Danish cartoun issue.

COnclusion :

More people who switched from FPM to M14. We have a lot of work to do, this battle will be more difficult than before.

my family never voted, but next may they will be eager to add 12 orange votes into the ballots:
5 in beirut 2
and 5 in metn

thats because 2 are not guaranteed to live till may 2009 unfortunately, due to medical problems... :(

My family and relatives voted FPM in 2005 (total around 18 votes). Fifteen won't vote in 2009 because they left Lebanon and now reside here in the US or in Canada, two will vote orange in 2009 (unless they also get their visa to Canada by then), and the remaining one is very old now and won't be able to travel all the way to Falougha (Hammana) to vote. In other words, 90% to 100% of 2005 voters in my family will not vote in 2009! Our people-loving patriotic leaders refused to give us expats the right to vote, and unfortunately we can't afford to fly to Lebanon for the elections.
