You cannot have a proportional system when its a by-election concerning only 1 seat! what do we do we take 51 % of kamil khoury to parliament and 49 Percent of Amine?

And anyway for general elections im with Proportional systems, which would have benefited the opposition (ex-op) big time, especially in Beirut For example.

I sense my family is suffering an excitement fatigue. I noticed everyone is less enthusiastic about those they supported before. It never seems to get you anywhere in real life.

Come voting day none of us will vote anywhere and even if we did our votes dont count. We know as little about those we are supposed to vote for as those we wanted to vote against.

A proportional system may have been the better way for our votes to have any weight, but for our family this would have made more room for endless and futile arguments.

A hybrid creature, something between Camil and Aminl The parts to keep from Amin are certainly his hair and his patriotic accent. You pick what parts of Camil you want to inject into the new creature.

I doubt it would have benefited either the opposition or the loyalists; That could explain why they were both against it (even in the Boutros law form).

most of my relatives are outside Lebanon.. but for those one who are still in Lebanon
like my dad he voted Hariri in 2005 and he will vote Hariri again he believes that the only person who have done anything for this country is Hariri...

as for my grandmother and 2 of her sons they will vote Hariri again ma3a keym esim machtoub... the rest used to vote against hariri but they are not in Lebanon anymore

as for my mom she never did vote in her life she dont care... same thing goes for my sister and they are not in Lebanon for now anyway... my brother if he was in Lebanon he would vote for Hariri for sure!

as for me i voted FPM in 2005 but now i wont vote for anybody because there is nobody who deserve my vote so in 2005 it was the first time i voted and might be the last one

and we all know how useless it is to vote under the 1960 law when we already know the results!

i vote in Tripoli bytheway

i vote in Tripoli bytheway
u will have a great shouce in 09
from yakan to da3ei alshahali
personally if i want to be neutral and vote in tripoli
i will put mikati and safadi. both are somehow neutral and not very sectarian like other sunni leaders
abdu majid rafe3i was a good choice in the past, but he is still stick in the 60s baath iraqi ideas and thoughts. but he is not sectarian at all.
but still commend the respect of the old generation in tripoli, extremely has a good image.
