The only winner is Saad Hariri: he absorbed Safadi, Mikati and Salam as sunni figures, he got 90% of sunni voters, he managed even to get christian votes, and after all he increased his parlementary bloc.
all this, and he does not have any experience or any history in politics... he is just the billionaire son of Hariri Senior.

the others, are all loosers in these elections.

lets see if FM will accept to change the law anymore... (i guess not).

The biggest loser: THE CHRISTIANS, ALL OF THEM.

The main political figure, the president, has come out weak, no matter what they say. He lost the battle in his own town, and this shows that this president does not represent the people, and he was indeed brought to his position because he does not represent.

The main religious figure, the Patriarch, has come out weak, because he not only alienated more and more half of the Christians, but he also lost his bet in the Maronite turf. Today most of the Maronite MPs are against him.

The main leader, General Michel Aoun has come out weaker in representation, since he has lost 10% of his Christian representation (despite the fact that he increased his MPs).

The main Catholic leader, Elie Skaff, who has lost his representation as Catholic political leader and reference.

Kataeb and LF who did not have their representation increased (regardless whether they are in the camp that won the elections, their representation as christian parties are less).LF was seen as weak because it was not able to have candidates in the Christian areas, and Kataeb weakness was shown in the electoral lists and how they had to abide by Hariri's rules and plans.

The Christians people. The Christians allowed other sects to decide for them. This will be irrevocable and Christians will wake up to that fact and already started. In Zahle for example, the leadership of Elie Skaff is transferred to Saad Hariri, not to Fattouch or Marouni or any of the elected MPs. From now on, Zahle Christians won't have a say in anything at all pertaining to the city, from the smallest issues to the biggest ones.

jumblat would never go out from his alliances with Hariri if he want to go tothe other side he will have to take hariri with him

jumblat would never give up hariri he dont even know what electoral law is coming in 2013

just look what surrounds the druze you will know why Jumblat family is always with the sunnist! as for the Christian they are out of the picture because they are minorities like him

FACTS:

The majority remains a majority by the will of the majority of the people.

Districts lost by the majority were lost with a much smaller margin than districts lost by the opposition.

The majority came within 1000 votes in penetrating the Zogharta and Keserwen lists, and within 2000 votes in additional penetration (no pun intended) in Metn. If this trend continues, and it will naturally, we will sweep all of Mount Lebanon and the North in 2013.

FPMers lost their claim to the Christian majority according to many independent and biased sources :-)

How did you figure Saad got 90% of the votes?? FM didn't get more than 65% of the votes in Tripoli, Akkar, Minnieh, Saida......so Mabrook for Saad and I like the guy, but it wasn't 90% ... he is not Bashar el-Assad after all :-)

Have you the detailed numbers in Akkar, Tripoli and Minieh Saida per SECT?
If not how then you said only 65%?

of course, I did. Do you think I make a statement without analyzing the figure.

For example, in Minnieh FM's candidate got an average of 37700 votes, whereas the 1st Sunni loser (opposition) got 16136 votes.... that's exactly 30% of the voters. It means FMers got a maximum of 70%. I say a maximum because there were at least 6 other non-FM candidates who got few thousands votes as well.

I used Minnieh as an exanple because it contains Sunni Candidates only...so we're comparing apples to apples...;-)

is this considered a win for your cause:

سعد الحريري "أنا مستعد لإعطاء المقاومة والسيد حسن كل ما يريدون من ضمانات في شأن سلاح المقاومة

Or doesn't this requires your intervention as in January 2007, you Christians defender:

تحدث وزير الداخلية زياد بارود عما جرى في الانتخابات في دائرة زحلة، مؤكداً حصول عمليات نقل نفوس لآلاف المواطنين إلى هذه الدائرة، وأن هذه العمليات جرت مباشرة بعد انتخابات عام 2005، وظهرت في لوائح الشطب في الأعوام الثلاثة التي تلته.

Walla, the day FPM has a new leadership or when GMA decides not to be in the spotlight anymore, you'll all LFers and Kataeb go for retirement. Pathetic !!
