Icon5 Will they return now? - 31st October 2008

Nothing will satisfy us, we the free people, who faught the syrian occupation, from any visit to Syria except the return of our prisoners there.

What are your expectations from such a visit?

Do you think GMA will be able to bring them back?

The embassies and the diplomatic exchange will be accomplished before the visit, thus an official confession from the syrians in the independence of our country.

The boarders' issue could wait, but the prisoners there couldn't.

Will they return now?

If yes, do you agree on such a visit? (A poll is prefered)

NO, NO and NO

No visit before the return of the detainees and before knowing where all the missing are.

Michel Aoun's role is NOT to bring them back, there is a state and its role is to do that. Khalas dkékin, Hebzollah, LFs and FM already have superstores why should we open one ourselves ??

as i said before
if the syrians will not collaborate with the lebanese offcials , ye3ni ambassador and foreign minister then if gma was able to get them back , from syria , this will hurt his image and will not really help ........
it will look like a deal , and actually , there's no reason why not to believe that this is a deal ....

Why don't we first know what kind of prisoners they have and what those prisoners do. We only heard one side of the story why don't we wait until this leb-syr committee comes back to us about the nature of the crimes they are accused of then we will see the reply etc.. Are those prisoners held in jail like the 4 generals in lebanon for example? are they in jail for political reasons like the 4 generals in Lebanon? If they are innocent then **** the Lebanese gov and the president for not securing their release. It is not GMA responsibility alone to secure their release. Why doesn't geagea and his feb 14 hypocrites talk to the americans to pressure Syria to release them? I mean I never heard one american or european official making a big scene about those prisoners while the US and europe were waiting even for the smallest silliest reason to attack Syria and the baathi.

Are you still waiting for such committees to do the job?
USELESS
When the syrians take the decision, it will be accomplished without playing games.

I think its highly probable that syria is going release the lebanese detainees so that aoun will get the credit for it for electoral purposes. He's their ally.

If allying with the devil is what it takes to bring them back, I am all for it...

Those people are more important than a tribunal...
