Jumbi will claim that he was behind this idea...

If we had any politician with some honor in the Valentinos camp, they should commit mass suicide for the mess they put the country in since 2005...

If I was a politician in the opposition (we need to figure out a new name for it since we are now in the gov) I would start moving toward Jumblat and opening channels at a slow pace. I am not saying an alliance I am saying opening channels with him.

I know he is a filthy person. I myself despise him as much as I despise Hariri, but opening up channels with him could be beneficial.

Talal Arslan has the momentum eversince he proved to be the only possible "wasit" whenever Joumblatt is cornered (7th may), no need to change that. The Druze see him as a peacemaker vs Jumblatt's fiery personnality.
IMO Jumblatt shouldn't be allowed to feel that comfortable this early. Channels are open with Amal by the way.

Arislan has so many issues. Jumblat is the undisputed leader of the Druze community and nobody should have doubts about that. Jumblat's most crucial worry and the thing that makes him loose sleep over is his relationship with the Syrian regime. Once this is fixed you will see the old Jumblat. Jumblat is not stupid and knows very well that Bush days are gone and that he lost the gambling game and that the Syrian regime is staying while Bush and the neocons are gone. Jumblat is very well convinced that Hariri the son does not cut it and that it is only a matter of time for Hariri family hegemony. He told that to the Saudis and the Sunnis are his weapons and once Hariri lose control over Sunni - which to him is a matter of time due to the stupidity of Hariri - he himself will lose. My opinion is that we should start opening channels somehow at a slow pace ala Amal style.

He's agonizing, do not bring him back to political life.

Quick Fatal Strike of death. Show no mercy.

Next year's elections are maybe the only opportunity for us to do so. Take advantage of it while you still can.

at least he will stop barking against us, no one will trust him again , and we will always honor our allies, but we cant deny that jumbi has his supporters and will always represent them, but never again as now with 17 PMs. i think a deal must be worked out with him.

His "Barking" is actually what is strengthening GMA within the christian community. Most of the christians hate him because of the atrocities he commited. I think GMA isn't really bothered from it, au contraire
