This man lives on the overrated myth that he is intelligent, clever, with deep reaching "antennas" to read the situation before anybody. If so, for one, he miserably failed just prior the 7th of May. He is not only arrogant but more seriously ,he plays with impunity the destiny of the Lebanese crowd and this because, tragically, he knows that he is not accountable.

Yesterday as described accurately by "angy Arab" he " basically moved from channeling Elliott Abrams to channeling...George Habash. " Yes, sadly for all to see. He does not even have a feeling of shame or ridicule. Just as he announced that he lied for 20years to the Syrians, today he is saying to his 14th of March partners that he *forgot * for 3 whole years his message of love for Palestine.

I had the hunch to keep in my files an article that appeared in the "Jesuralem post "on Nov 2007, having the feeling that this newly found love for Israel may be reversed at some point. It was reversed yesterday.

it said to be wisdom when you learn from the mistakes of others.it seems those who trusted jumblatt after he backstabbed hezbllah after the 2005 elections,have the slightest trace of wisdom.

i have always kept in mind that the so called "cedar revolution" and the so called "march 14" (or feb.14) alliance is fake and will eventually fall.

it was first the FPM that woke up early to know that those claiming to be carrying the torch of independence are nothing but deceitful warlords who allied themselves with the syrians at the expense of lebanon as a whole.they are not trustworthy.FPM as nationalistic party distinguished itself from these bunch of crooks and hypocrites.

today its the chamelon who is changing its color and the FM and LF are amazed by the display of rainbow colors by jumblatt.its is just amazing and bliss when listening to the present declaration of jumblatt.perhaps if may 7th would have being earlier,he would have changed earlier than today.

am still waiting for the ultimate break-up between the LF and the FM.there is nothing common between these two.if the FM truely claims to represent sunnis,i think that break-up is just so inevitable!time will tell better and more.stay tuned....

ثلاثة اتّجاهات داخل الموالاة، وجنبلاط أوسطها

جان عزيز

يروي أحد الذين رافقوا مسؤولاً كبيراً في دولة شرق أوسطية للمشاركة في مؤتمر حواري إسلامي عقد في السعودية منذ أسابيع، أنه التقى هناك صدفة على هامش المؤتمر أحد أفراد العائلة المالكة، والذي كان اسمه قد زجّ تكراراً في الحوادث اللبنانية الأخيرة. فبادره قائلاً: «قسماً بالله، أوقف تدخلك في لبنان». ويروي الضيف نفسه أن المسؤول السعودي أجابه باسماً: «أؤكد لك أنني منذ أسابيع طويلة لم أعد أتعاطى في الشأن اللبناني إطلاقاً

قد لا تكون الواقعة صحيحة، وقد لا تكون حيثياتها دقيقة. غير أن مدلولاً لها يبدو وقد أصبح حقيقة واقعة، وهو الانكفاء السعودي عن الساحة السياسية اللبنانية، عقب حوادث 7 أيار الماضي، أو على الأقل اختلال موازين القوى في الساحة نفسها، على حساب الدور السعودي الذي ساد في الأعوام الثلاثة الماضية

وقياساً إلى هذا المدلول، يسود لدى فريق الحكومة السابقة مناخ يشير إلى أن الرياح الإقليمية لم تعد بما تشتهيه أشرعته. ويتحدث البعض داخل هذا الفريق عن أن هذا التحوّل سيترجم عملياً على أرض الواقع في الانتخابات المقبلة. ويضيف بعض المخضرمين هناك أن الاستحقاقات في لبنان كانت، تاريخياً، انعكاساً لعاملين: الأجواء الإقليمية، وهوية السلطة القائمة. ولم يشذّ أي برلمان عن هذه القاعدة منذ قيام البرلمان. حتى سابقة «الحلف» سنة 1968، لم تكن غير تعبير عن موازين ما بعد «النكسة» وإعادة تموضع شارل حلو، وهو ما كانت بوادره قد لاحت في فرعية جبيل الشهيرة سنة 1965. هكذا يسود جوّ لدى فريق النصف +1 أنه مقبل على استحقاق نيابي صعب، أو خاسر. لأن القاعدة التاريخية في لبنان أن الأكثرية النيابية في ساحة النجمة هي مجموع السلطة في بيروت، زائداً المناخ الإقليمي المتفاعل معها. وإزاء هذه الأجواء، تتبلور لدى الفريق نفسه ردود فعل ثلاثة، هي في الواقع تعبيرات عن الظروف الذاتية والموضوعية لكل مكوّن من مكوّنات هذا الفريق

رد الفعل الأول يمثّله أساساً مسيحيّو «ائتلاف النصف +1» داخل الحكومة الحالية، وعنوانه الظاهر هو عدم التسليم مسبقاً باحتمال خسارة الانتخابات منذ الآن، لا بل الاستعداد المطلق لخوضها تحت عنوان واحد: نزع سلاح حزب الله. وينطلق أصحاب رد الفعل هذا من ثلاثة اعتبارات: أولاً اعتقادهم بأن هذا العنوان الانتخابي لمعركتهم يملك من الجاذبية المسيحية ما يؤهّلهم على الأقل لعدم الاستسلام. ثانياً، رهانهم الدائم على أن الأشهر العشرة الفاصلة عن الاستحقاق الانتخابي قد تحمل تطورات إقليمية تعيد ترجيح الكفّة السعودية في مواجهة سوريا، وقد تعيد الاهتمام الأميركي بلبنان، من زاوية احتمال فشل الحوار بين واشنطن وطهران. وثالثاً، الحساب القائل بأن معركتهم ضد سلاح حزب الله قد تمثّل نقطة التلاقي للتحوّلين المرتجيين سعودياً وأميركياً. كذلك يخلص أصحاب رد الفعل هذا إلى حسم خيارهم: اعرف عدوك، سلاح حزب الله عدوك

رد الفعل الثاني ضمن الفريق نفسه يمثّله وليد جنبلاط، وعنوانه، لا «التكويع» كما يحلو للبعض توصيفه، ولا الانقلاب على الذات، ولا حتى إعادة التموضع، بل مجرد التراجع خطوة والوقوف عند «تقاطع الطرق» الداخلي والإقليمي والدولي، بما يتيح انتظاراً مريحاً حتى انقشاع الأجواء

يبقى رد الفعل الثالث، ويمثّله اتجاه واضح لدى بعض المكوّن الحريري داخل فريق «النصف الحكومي»، وعنوانه دفع الأمور، أو تركها تندفع تلقائياً، أو على الأقل عدم الممانعة في اندفاعها العفوي نحو عدم إجراء الانتخابات النيابية في الربيع المقبل. وينطلق أصحاب هذا الاتجاه من عاملين اثنين: أولاً معرفتهم بأن التطورات الإقليمية المتاحة في الأشهر الفاصلة عن الاستحقاق الانتخابي ستكون أكثر خللاً لميزان قوتهم، على عكس رهان مسيحيي فريقهم. وثانياً إدراكهم بعدم قدرتهم على التكيّف مع أي تبدّل، على عكس «الخيار المحتمل» لجنبلاط، وهو ما بدأ التمهيد له بالكلام عن استحالة الانتخاب في ظل السلاح

ثلاثة ردود فعل تعكس القدرة على رصد ثلاثة أبعاد للوضع اللبناني بين الداخلي والإقليمي والدولي، وتعكس في نتيجتها مدى الحكمة في حسن القراءة والفهم والرصد

رفض أقطاب من الفريق المسيحي في 14 آذار ونواب من تيار «المستقبل» طلبات أكثر من عشر وسائل إعلامية لبنانية مكتوبة ومرئية ومسموعة للتعليق على تصريحات النائب وليد جنبلاط التي أدلى بها أول من أمس. وقال معظم هؤلاء، خارج التسجيل، إنهم ينتظرون توضيحات منه قبل التعليق.
