Will HA/Amal give the head of general security for christians?

Do you think that HA/Amal should give the head of general security position for a christian officer (especially grec-catholic), after it was for decades for a christian officer, and was taken by jamil el sayyed in the syrian era ??

If HA/Amal do so, they will prove that they are really for partnership, add that it will be a good point scored for FPM in the christian street.

It's not. It was just a tradition just like the ministry of finance back in the days when it was known to be for Shia only, until Hariri came and registered it under the name of his Sanyoura. It made Berri really pissed at the time among many other things that pissed him off at Hariri. Similary, the tradition of General Security department was traditionally to the Orthodox, until the Syrian intelligence wanted Jamil for the job. I don't recall anyone that dared to be pissed off at the time.

I have no problem that Finance ministry goes to an honest Sunni man .. While i do have a problem if we are going down sectarian in a ladder of positions untill we start traditionally appoint teachers kamen as tradition based on sects.

This position should be handed to someone close or from oppsotion , i have no problem if he is a buhdist.

So what kind of answer you want, we stay at home and pray for the sectarian system to vanish? let the change and reform bloc all resign, FPM to cancel itself and Aoun to retire then, let's see if that could make things any better.

Why does it have to be one of two things, either sit at home doing nothing, or join the sectarian game? Why carry a secular flame if every now and then scetarian talks/acts are passed under a general banner: the system is as such?
Is it very hard to try to reach out for Lebanese without resorting to these sectarian calls? I just wonder...
