General Karam should be on the Zgharta List, but what you wrote below and today is pure Tekhbiss ya Bachir. Quote:

do u know that he was exilted to france, and he couldnt attend his father and mother and brother's funeral?
do u know what was his role in the RPL in france?
he did all this for the cause I believed in and the cause that is suppose to be yours too since you say you are an FPMer, and to recompense him, we prefere to vote for Salim Karam in Zgharta, the guy who spent all his life in Cabarets (and if there is some members here from zgharta, they will definatly know what im talking about).
it is not about Sleiman, it is about our believes.
guys what happened to our dreams? what happened to our cause?

FPM is big enough in Zgharta to have a candidate, and we deserve to be represented there. | Assigning candidates to locations is not a "present" or a recognition to what they did or did not do. It should be based on ability to win and focus on the end goal: getting the majority, along with (trustworthy, i.e. not Michel el Murr) allies. Of course, within that, FPM should strive to have the largest piece (everyone will) but not at the expense of losing a seat for the overall opposition (i.e. it is better for Marada to get 2 seats than for FPM to get one and Nayla the other).
Having said that, Gl Karam (just as the other army heroes from that era) should get all the respect and support he deserves from FPM and the base.
I would love to see him as our next minister of defence... From Yarze and back to Yarze...
If He wants to be an MP, then GMA can have him run in Kesserwan or Metn or Ba3bda | | | | | Orange Room Moderator

Talking about personal stuff about Salim Karam is invalid. Not defending Salim Karam, but he was one of the first FPMers in Zgharta when no one dared to say enno houwe 3aoune. He is one of the main reason why there are FPMers in Zgharta. You should respect his past the same way you respected General Karam's past. Quote:

If He wants to be an MP, then GMA can have him run in Kesserwan or Metn or Ba3bda | if we go back to 2005's result, Sleiman took in Zgharta 21000, Fayez Karam 19700, Estephan Doueihi 16000, Salim karam 15000
if Fayez is on the list, the list will win for sure, so why not having him on it, and he got a better score then Salim and Estphen.
and every bondy know that Salim's supporters and Doueihi's supporters wont vote for each other they always bann each other.
so if Nayla will have any chance to win, is by keeping the list as it is, and if Fayez is in it, the list will win for sure and will get a huge score. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to Bachir For This Useful Post: | | | Orange Room Supporter

I like and respect the guy (the father of one of my friend spend the 5 months in Mezze with him). and would love to see him play a role in the future. I'm just saying that not having him run in Zgharta does not mean being disrespectful on ungratful to him... the goal is winning the election and the decisions must be made to achieve that... (and I'm not saying that based on that he should or should not run in Zgharta) | | | | | Orange Room Supporter

GUYS, FOR GOD SAKE, THIS THREAD IS NOT ABOUT SLEIMAN FRANGIEH'S LIST, IT IS ABOUT GEN. FAYEZ KARAM
evey party in the begining declares a big nb of candidates and in the end and after the alliences they reduce the nb.
so far for exemple FPM have 4 candidates in koura (George Atallah, Massaad Boulos, Abdallah Zakhem, Gabriel Derrek), and we will choose only one. (the whole nb of the seats is 3, 1 for SSNP, 1 for Marada and 1 for us)
Sleiman Frangieh have the right to announce 28 candidate in the north if he wants, but in the end of the day, he will have to sit down with his allies and share the seats with them.
it is not personal, it is not against Sleiman Frangieh, it is not against our allience with him. it is about a candidate called Fayez Karam, who is suppose to get your support and the support of every FPMer, all of you, until the day the "opposition" announce the final lists in Lebanon.
How do you expect to take an honorable share from the seats if you start distributing what is yours for your allies from now? | | | | | Orange Room Moderator
