General Karam is a true FPMer, he is a person who has principles, and he is an asset to FPM and Lebanon.
I really believe though, that if this time General Karam is not a candidate, it is not the end of the world. Neither will he leave FPM, nor will FPM leave him, who knows maybe General Karam will get a position better than an MP. And even if he doesn't, it;s also not the end of the world. There are many people who fought aside GMA, who fought among FPMers, who work until this day very hard for FPM, and that, while being in the dark, and not running after a position or a candidacy or any spotlights.

Fayez Karam should understand the "present situation", how things are being done, what sacrifices it takes to try to win. Many like General Karam will have to do the same, I will name only 2, Ziad Abs and Michel Metni, but then again, this is when we will know the TRUE FPMers, FPMers who are after the benefit of all and of Lebanon and not their own personal benefit.

I don't know the details of what's happening and how widespread is Marada's support is... but can't GA give Franjieh a seat somewhere else in exchange for adding GFK on Franjieh's list in Zgharta?
