One of my votes went to the FPM, although I have nothing against the party. I wish there was an option named 'Michel Aoun' instead of FPM. I don't want to drift off into a debate about Aoun's history, but to explain it, I owe my emigration status, the weak state of the Christian community, the Ta2if agreement, and 15 yrs of Syrian occupation following the end of the war all to Aoun.
Another one of my votes went to the PSP, not for physically killing Christians in 1983 but for verbally attacking them in 2009 and not committing to a cause.
Amal got a vote for being zo3ran and never missing an opportunity to fight on the streets, being the most pro-Syrian people in this country, and for being led by the most corrupt man on the Lebanese political scene.
Kataeb got a vote for being obsolete and rotating between anti-Syria and neutral and using harsh words against Hezbollah's weapons and then going for weeks not talking about disarming them. Although I still hold them in
Marada got a vote because the Franjieh's have always been far too close to Syria.
And of course, Hezbollah, for what kind of country has a state army AND a militia? What kind of country are we trying to build? After May 2000, Hezbollah lost all legitimacy (for what little it had before). Civil war ended 20 yrs ago but as recent as last year Hezbollah took over Beirut.
I'm no LFer or FMer, but I didn't vote for them because I feel they at least mean well. Saad Hariri just has to grow some balls and act as much as he talks, and Samir Ja3ja3 just needs to play a more important role in March 14. Why doesn't the LF have 20 MPs right now when it could've had that many? Why must all Christian MPs go to Hariri? | | | | | Orange Room Supporter

My poltical rival is with no doubt, Carlos eddeh.
At least this guy has an insightful look toward the on-goings on the lebanese soil. He resemble a genuine danger on the presence of FPM and michel aoun.Beside, Carlos eddeh is the only christian leader that can mobilize most of his partisans and could ultimitely fill beirut and its suburbs if not more. We all should unite our effort to stop the landslide of a vehment phenomina that is invading the thoughts and the support of the lebanese. Stand up and face Carlos Eddeh. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to mike-ramma For This Useful Post: | | | Registered Member

It's hard to choose one's political rivals when all parties have more or less the same platform (except for Hizbullah) and they are all kind of family enterprises. | | | | | | |
