Are you kidding me? When Naim Qassem says they dont need lessons on nationalism from anyone, thats a violent response? Thats as tame a reply as you could ever get. Sfeir has implied multiple times now that the Shiites (via Hezbollah & Amal) shouldnt be part of the government and has also explicitly suggested that Hezbollah are Iranian tools. You're not hearing a whimper from Hezbollah. Maybe SHN in his next speech should suggest that Sfeir sold out to the Saudis and is on their payroll? Perhaps that'll put into perspective how restrained they've been.

Completely irrelevant. He was mocked, not criticized, and his supporters took offense to it, even if the aftermath was completely unjustified. He gets criticized all the time for his speeches and part of his religious/cultural ideology (Wilayet al Fakih), and you dont hear him complaining about it.

I agree they lost a lot of votes because of him, but understand that the only reason Hezbollah is tight-lipped about his remarks is for GMA's sake, and absolutely nothing else. Its a sectarian country and sectarian overtones never go unnoticed.
