That's not exactly the problem here.
If the patriarch wishes to give his political opinion then he has to accept to be treated as a politician.
No free passes for him because he's also the head of the maronite church.
The moment he takes a political stance, he becomes just like any other politician in the country.
So next time an MP treats another of being a traitor or corrupt, the patriarch should accept to be treated the same way, or else let him keep on praying
