this tribunal is not needed.in 2005 when the crime happened we had no civil war.an assasination happened, today it is the lebanese state that should take responsibility in first finding evidence and then punishing the criminals.

as regards the four generals being transferred to the hague:no,no,no and a thousand NO!they will not be transferred anywhere and should not be transferred anywhere.even if there is evidence that points that they are involved in the assasination,they will be prosecuted in lebanon and punished in lebanon.

lebanon handing over its citizens to another country is a crime against its citizens.its a bad precedence.its like a father handing over his son to another man to teach his son manners.

this court is just to politicize issues and blow things out of proportions.today its the four generals,tomorrow they may ask for much more important individuals for no significant reason than for political ends.that is not acceptable.this court may well turn out to be used as an election tool by the feb. 14 gang and their masters.

Cant there be other criminals then geagea and hariri?
If the IT is aslking for them, that means either they are suspects
or they are important witnesses that could be put in danger if they are set out of jail

whatever is the reason, they seem to be going to Holland soon

why is the opposotion against that? are they in danger in Holland? do you think they will be tortured there?

Lebanon could not even dismantle an illegal communication network belonging to a militia and cameras watching runways at Beirut airport! HA will threaten with another May 7 if the generals are transferred because HA is in Hariri's assassination up to their eyeballs!

First, I agree with you that Geagea is a murderer, Hariri senior and Junior are thieves, and Sanioura is an idiot.

But, I have a question for you:
Forget about the murder of Hariri, lets assess the performance of the 4 generals BEFORE 2005.

Do you now consider that the 4 generals are not murderers or thieves during the period BEFORE 2005? If so, were you against Aoun at that time? Because, before Hariri's murder, Aoun was the first person to speak about the theft performed by the 4 Generals (and many others) as well as about the Kidnappings of FPM supportes that these 4 Generals orchestrated along with the Syrians at that time. Do you think Aoun was wrong about these 4 Generals?
