So whether they are judged because of Hariri's killing or because of their actions during the syrian era, I wouldn't shed one tear for these people.

I do not care about the 4 generals. I am talking in particular about Ali AL Hajj. Your allegation that Ali AL Hajj was part of the aparatus that persecuted FPM is unfounded and untrue. The guy was the head of the ISF for 6 months before Hariri went up in flames. Hariri himself was the one who helped in persecuting the FPM and it was during HAriri that geagea (rightfully) was in jail.

Then again, what you are saying is a complete hypocricy. FPM is a complete ally with HA and had you not been a hypocrite you would have at least shed some light on HA/Syrian relationship. But you did not. you chose not to. The same goes for the LFer who commented on my words. Had he not been a hypocrite he would have shed light on the FM and Rafik Hariri collaboration and conspiring with the Syrians against GMA and FPM.

ارجوكم ان توقفوا الخرافات.

With their actions they did not leave any friends around, this is what happens to dictators when their era ends, it happened to Hitler, Caucescu, it happened to Saddam, it happened Pinoche etc. They all end up bi mazbelet el terikh

I don't know who killed Hariri for sure nor I care who killed hariri (it is the least of my concerns)....however, I know for sure, Hariri was a Syrian jockey for 25 years...so live with that meanwhile

The international tribunal's registrar, Robin Vincent, announced that Lebanese authorities would be asked to transfer to The Hague the four generals held in connection with ex-Premier Rafik Hariri's murder as soon as the court starts functioning.

Good riddance!

At least there they will know why they are in prison and thats in case opposition allowed them to take those 4.

Stop getting high dreams in a country where everything is done by political approval.

and if opposition says no one take the 4 generals anywhere no one can do anything about it.

Just to let you know.

this tribunal is just going to be a waste of energy, time and money.

lebanon is a sovereign country that should be able to administer justice when a crime occur on its territory.

the precedence that have been set concerning the four generals is appalling.how can anyone detain another person (and in this case four GENERALS) on suspicion with no evidence?they have been in jail since 2005.

these generals if there is any evidence to implicate them should face justice,if not then free them.

the world have never experienced a situation whereby the international court of justice is opening a case for a crime that happened in a sovereign state?what is the job of our courts and judges?are they not good enough to execute any case?

the hague should know that we have big time criminals who committed crimes against humanity during our civil war and today they are big time politicians.why didnt we have an international tribunal after the lebanese civil war?

it now seems to me that the life of one man is more important than the thousands of lives that were massacred.

this tribunal is not needed.in 2005 when the crime happened we had no civil war.an assasination happened, today it is the lebanese state that should take responsibility in first finding evidence and then punishing the criminals.

as regards the four generals being transferred to the hague:no,no,no and a thousand NO!they will not be transferred anywhere and should not be transferred anywhere.even if there is evidence that points that they are involved in the assasination, they will be prosecuted in lebanon and punished in lebanon.

lebanon handing over its citizens to another country is a crime against its citizens.its a bad precedence.its like a father handing over his son to another man to teach his son manners.

this court is just to politicize issues and blow things out of proportions.today its the four generals, tomorrow they may ask for much more important individuals for no significant reason than for political ends.that is not acceptable.this court may well turn out to be used as an election tool by the feb. 14 gang and their masters.
