As GMA said, we will stick and abide by the Lebanese government's position.

As for my personal opinion, well I never ruled out the possibility that Syria may be behind the assassination. However I believe that many incidents that took place since 2005 raised question marks about the motives behind them and how almost all of them came in a special timing which crippled the opposition (supposedly Syria's allies) while politically speaking the loyalists benefitted from them to the maximum.

Moreover there is the Siddik scandal which raised huge doubts: If one is sure about the identity of the killer, why the need to fabricate witnesses to mislead the investigation?

I was among the numerous people who directly pointed out at Syria after Hariri's assassination. However so many "weird" things happenned later on that may have implicated other sides too.

Roch, you seem greatly misguided about what our leaders say about them. Nobody in FPM is saying they are innocent, we are just questioning the illegal means in which they were kept in jail without a reason. Today it is them, tomorow it can happen to you (god forbids) or to anyone else. We just don't want this country to be mazra3a.

The international tribunal is there to find them guilty or not. If they are, they go to jail, if they are not, they live freely until a Justice Minister has the balls to open all their corruption files and put them back to jail (they have A LOT on them, so it will be easy to send them back).

The question is: who is that minister who will have the balls to do that? Whether FM, PSP or LF, or Amal the minister will not dare, since the files are "common". Very hard to believe that Jamil el Sayed stole money without given a share to Hariri for example. Get my point?

What your leaders are doing now, by keeping these generals in jail for the wrong reasons, is the same thing the syrians did with Geagea (church bombing). Do you really want the 4 generals to be freed (if found innocent) and go out as heroes, run in the elections and God forbids win by using all the hype and momentum created?

Your leaders' policies will eventually lead Lebanon into chaos. They are too short termist!

How did we benefit from all the "weird" assasinations. Tell me how could we benefit when Pierre Gemeyel was assasinated, tell me how could we benefit when Gebran Tuini was assasinated....by gathering a big turnout at a demo?? You guys are ridiculous.

You are looking at the matter with the wrong question
Dont ask who gains from the murder of hariri, but who was the most bothered with him alive

If Isreal was behind the killlings, why was the failed attempted murder of Hmadeh covered up, cleaned, forgoten by the syrians (and their tools)
why did they threaten Hmadeh in the first place... well acually syria was threatening all the martyrs just before they get killed
Didnt the syrians feel weird that each time they threaten someone, he gets killed! spooky isnt it!

The 4 generals were part of the security apparatus that used to persecute anyone opposing the Syrian presence.

So whether they are judged because of Hariri's killing or because of their actions during the syrian era, I wouldn't shed one tear for these people.
