Pity shoushou is dead, he would've made the perfect candidate for prime minister and most fitting for a comical country.
Maybe we can convince Ghawwar L toshi to form our government. He is syrian after all.

I second that vote (for shoushou)...

But is he sunni? Otherwise you'll be damned for eternity by Jouzo...

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter because FPM is bent on destroying the country to please HA who in turn are applying the Syrian / Iranian agenda.

You guys are destroying this country and you wonder why Aoun has lost so much support in 4 years. Hariri offered FPM a ministry that they LF and PSP were fighting over and you guys still rejected it. This proves it is not about reform or about Christian rights...its about making money, its about setting up Bassil for the Orange Throne, its about spying on March14, and most importantly its about Hizballah. Hizballah wants FPM to take the Telecomm ministry, and Aoun will drag the country down the drain la3yaouno la Sayyed Hassan. Before I wanted FPM in this government, but now if things continue this way, for the sake of the nation I'd rather have them out.
There is a majority and a miniority and the majority should rule alone. At7aftouna fiyya hayde, but since FPM is the majority of the Christians then Aoun get 15 ministers. yalla za7tou ba2a intou will kataeb, addkon add el fara w sawtkon mtalla el 7ara.

With

1) Bahij Tabara
2) Layla solh hmede
3) Mikati (even though I don't like him)

Against

Hariri
Sanyoura

They ruled lebanon for 20 freaking years with the syrians! They stole the country, kissed the syrian's A$$ and now look where are we nominating the same family again from Hariri senior to hariri kid! We live in a Kingdom!

With all seriousness, how could they nominate the same one who just said after 73 days: sorry, I give up, I can't do it!!!!!! .

Should the rule of " No Rasbeen" be applied here as well?

Is this a game or something? The guy failed, and now he is threatening whomever does not nominate him for the second attempt.

It is not about him; but in this case it is; because he is a FAILURE!!!!!

Can someone tell him that his father worked hard to make himself the important person he was financially and politically.
Can someone inform him, he got from his father the money and the name but nothing else.

As for whom to nominate, I think the process is convoluted; it should be the other way around: the candidates should present their programs and the MPs should vote accordingly.
It does not matter where the candidate comes from(Majority or Minority); why not have 2 majority candidates compete with each other in the parliament's floor? why not have them debate the programs and then have the MPs vote on them?

And enough of this nonsense silly notion:"Majority won Majority rules": this is not what the constitution says.
regards

Safadi would make a great candidate, maybe not the best but there's only few to pick from.
