This Chart, and the Student's communique are full of mistakes.
ill give 3 small examples i know because im directly concerned with those faculties.
ISP (sciences po) its 5-5-1 (tawefou2 and tazkiyeh) - President march 14
IGE is 3 FPM, 5 LF, 1 ind. (the independant is president by tawefou2 mousba2)
first year 2-1 for LF by tawefou2, 3rd year is 1-1-1 by tawefou2 also, and 2nd year there was elections and the LF won 2-1, so why there are no % in this chart ???
and Droit its 4-4-3 (total 11 delegues), ta3edoul between LF and FPM, and 2 trait d'union and 1 independant. The president's election is to be next week, nothing is done yet depending on the independants. On the Student's communique the results were 5 - 4 - 3 (total 12 delegues) completely wrong. And in the chart they took the independant with them.

what's wrong with that? junior years could have more students, more votes, for a less amount of representatives.

ahan i c so its 4 4 3 but to be fair fpm got the most number of votes in all the years but because of the stupid law ended up with the same number of seats as LF.if the election was held based on the old law fpm would have sealed the presidency in droit.

المركزية – أكد رئيس لجنة الشباب والشؤون الطالبية في التيار الوطني الحر ماريو شمعون أن "انتخاب رؤساء الهيئات الطالبية الأسبوع المقبل سيكون ردا على كل ما أشيع وسيظهر حقيقة الأمور". وشدد على أنه "لا يمكننا أن نقارن طالب مستقل حاز على ثلاثة أصوات بأحزاب كبيرة".
وعما رافق الانتخابات من تحاذب سياسي حول النتائج أعلن شمعون في حديث الى "المركزية" أنه "إذا استمرت القوات اللبنانية في الأسلوب نفسه من التعاطي سنعمد الى حملة تواقيع كما فعلنا منذ عامين في الجامعة الأميركية". ولاحظ "مفارقة في كلام رئيس الهيئة التنفيذية في القوات اللبنانية الدكتور سمير جعجع الذي أعلن العام الفائت فوز القوات في اليسوعية لكنه ناقض كلامه في لقائه مع الطلاب هذا العام بقوله إن العونيين ربحوا العام الماضي وهذا العام ربحنا نحن"، لافتا الى أنه "قد يحتاج عاما آخر للاعتراف بانتصارنا".
وأكد أن "انتخاب رؤساء الهيئات الطالبية الأسبوع المقبل سيكون الرد على كل ما أشيع وسيظهر حقيقة الأمور فالناس ضاقت ذرعا من الجدل"، مشددا على "أن المعارضة حازت على أصوات أكثر في اليسوعية وهي عندما تعلن أنها فازت في كلية ما تكون تقول الحقيقية ولا توارب".
ورأى شمعون أن "إدارة الجامعة ليست حكما وهي أجرت الانتخابات عمدا وفق هذا القانون كي لا تحسم الأمور وتبقى متحكمة بطلاب الكليات الصغيرة". وقال: هذا القانون لم يخفف من الاصطفافات السياسية والاحتقان كما قالت إدارة الجامعة إنما زاد الاحتقان فعدد المندوبين والكليات زاد وتقلصت إمكانات التفاهم والتشاور وارتفعت نسبة التعطيل.
وسأل: "ما الإفادة من أن يحصل صف يضم سبعة طلاب على مندوبَين؟ موضحا أن "بعض الكليات تضم أقل من خمسين صوتا ويكون فيها ستة مندوبين ولا يمكن أن نوازي بالتالي هذا المندوب بآخر يوازي 200 صوت". ورأى ان "البديل بأن يكون هناك "تجمع الرؤساء" على أن ينتخب الرؤساء مباشرة من الطلاب وبعدها يمكن اعتماد النسبية"، وقال: يجب اعتماد النسبية في كل كلية على حدة وإعلان لائحتين متنافستين تضمان طلابا من السنوات كافة. فاليوم نحن أو الفريق الآخر احتلنا على القانون فهم قدموا لائحتين وكذلك نحن وبالتالي ربح الفريقان، أما المستقلون فهم من ربح في الكليات الصغيرة.
وإذ أكد شمعون "أننا نشجع الطلاب المستقلين"، لفت الى أنه "لا يمكن أن نقارن طالب مستقل حاز على ثلاثة أصوات بأحزاب كبيرة أكان التيار الوطني الحر أو القوات اللبنانية أو المستقبل أو حزب الله"، معتبرا أن "القوات استغلت هذا الموضوع بضم هذه الكليات إليها رغم أن هؤلاء الطلاب ربحوا بالتزكية".
ولفت الى "أننا حاولنا أن نختصر الأمور وأن نبتعد عن المطولات الإعلامية وسنعقد مؤتمرا صحافيا بعد إعلان نتائج انتخابات رؤساء الهيئات الطالبية لكن لن نلعب لعبة تقاذف الكرة".
وردا على سؤال استغرب شمعون "الحديث عن أن الشيعة هم من ساهم في انتصارنا"، وقال: هذا أمر مضحك فعندما نفوز في جامعة ما يكون ذلك بفضل الشيعة أما إذا انتصروا هم في جامعة ما فيكون ذلك بقوتهم الذاتية. ويكفي إلقاء نظرة على الأسماء لمعرفة من فاز فتيار المستقبل حصد عدد مندوبين أكثر بمرة ونصف من حزب الله. وسأل: هل أن طلاب حزب الله لا يدفعون قسطا في الجامعة ولا يتعلمون؟"، مبديا أسفه "لهذا التمييز الطائفي الرخيص".
وعن انتخابات الجامعة الأميركية أوضح أن "أحدا لا يمكنه حسم النتيجة نظرا لطبيعة الجامعة وسنشهد السيناريو نفسه وسندخل في السجال ذاته ولكننا سنحافظ على مواقع قوتنا".

LAU elections have been postponed until further notice.
AUB elections are next on the 17th.
We can publish the candidate but bare in mind that both sides use candidates under the cover of independents in some faculties, or there is a pre-existing deal with some candidates concerning who they will vote for after they are elected.
This is why some controversy always exists.
But you can always count on getting the truth here, from me or any other AUBite present on the forum.
