Correct me if I'm wrong bass 3a ases the elections were not going to be held at USJ this year?

by the way whatever the outcome is there's no need to 'ybado el wejj' cuz the media will still manage to picture the 14ers as winners and we'll never get to differentiate the winners from the losers. At the same time some FPM forumers will want to discredit the 14ers if they manage to win a faculty or two. So ma tkassro raskoun, everyone's a winner w bala hal ma3ma3a..

u stand corrected because there is an election.
It will be under a new law that will prevent us from having a clear victory, in order to portray that we are losing popularity

For AUB it's early to receive an email stating when, however I got on my agenda that SRC Elections will be on Tuesday 17 November 2009.

how it's gonna look like?... no change.

There is the opposition and the loyalists ("Students at work", i think they will remain at work with their big budget, even bigger this year). What PSP's position in this time, no change, 'cause the change still didn't come down to base...
Well let me be honest with you, the opposition in AUB is not doing its best, they can do much better and this what they say after each election... they lack-- MoNeY ($$) and OrGaNiZaTiOn (coordination)--... kil wa7ad fete7 3a 7seibo.

Hizbollah working alone as well as Amal and FPM, and then their representatives hold a meeting I don't know why!... while in the other side there is 14th of March!!!! you got it by now.

final results I guess:

45% opposition
50% Saudis Jordanians Palestinians Gulf whatsoever
05% independents - just in election time-

As it always was: civilized, peaceful and overwhelmingly calm until celebrations..

What is the outlook in "La Belle Etoile" kindergarten and when are the elections going to be held?

Rumors say that Joseph (A 4-year old supported by FPM) stands a good chance against Sami (a 5-year old LFer).

Ila ayn ya shabeb?

These elections never made parties stronger and never made student life better. I'm not gonna say that I haven't participated in those elections back in the days, nor that I supported FPM at that time. But the uselessness of these elections can really be sensed now and efforts should be directed towards reshuffling the attractiveness of FPM as a set of principles and/or as a party.

To those who really need to emerge victorious in a sweeping victory that will rock the world, organize some rounds of paintball and savor your victory. No need to get the army to besiege campuses..I hope that the FPM will not officially endorse any candidate (regardless of how it will be interpreted). Elections were held a couple of months ago and there's no need to conduct a flawed FPM census

I'll start by saying the election dates as i know them:
USJ : 3 November
AUB: 17 November
LAU: 20 November (Byblos And Beirut)

As for the outlook at AUB, its still not very clear. The atmosphere looks to be better between the opposition members, however on the other side many "rumors" are circulating concerning the PSP's position inside the university will match that of Jumblatt on the outside(only with FM). Don't ask me for predictions yet.

I have no idea about LAU Beirut, but in Byblos I'm getting information that results will be better than last year. How much better??? I really don't know.
