أود ان اوجّه تحية كبيرة الى جميع ناشطات و ناشطي التيار الوطني الحر الذين لم يبخلوا بأي جهد خلال الفترة التحضيرية للإنتخابات النيابية. أنتم أمل لبنان ، و انتم شعب لبنان العظيم الذي لم و لن يستسلم يوماً تحت وطأة جميع المصاعب، من مال و تهديد و تخوين.
تحية الى كل مناضل قدّم ساعات طويلة، تخلى فيها عن عائلته و احبائه، عمله و دراسته من اجل انجاح مسيرة التيار الوطني الحر. من اقصى الشمال الى اقصى الجنوب، سواعد مجتهدة و جبين مرتفع، و امل بتحقيق حلم بناء الدولة.
أنتم يا أيها الشرفاء و الأبطال صنعتم التاريخ، و تصنعون المستقبل. لم اكن يوماً اشعر بهذا الفخر الكبير حين شاهدتكم تكدون عرقكم، و شبكت يداي بأيديكم، في سبيل لبنان عبر التيار الوطني الحر.
استفزوكم و لم تأبهوا ، حاربوكم فصمدتم ، اعتدوا عليكم فصبرتم ، أهانوكم فقلتم كلمتكم نهار الإنتخابات.
أنتم امل عدد كبير من اللبنانيين، جعلتموهم يعودون الى الوطن ، و احييتم روح الأرزة في داخلهم، رفعتم رؤوس الأحرار في لبنان ، و صنعتم قرار التمرد على الفساد.
أزيلوا الحزن عن وجوهكم، و اعيدوا الضحكة الى ملقاكم، انتم الفائز الوحيد في الإنتخابات، نعم نحن لم نهزم ، لم نركع و لم نستسلم.. نحن من يصنع الدمقراطية في لبنان و نحن من زرع المحبة بين اللبنانيين.
قلبي يبتهج لدى رؤيتكم، و عيوني تدمع حين اراكم مسالمين راقين، بعيدين عن لغة الحقد و السلاح و القتال.
كلمة واحدة لكم يا ابناء ميشال عون، يا ابناء الثورة، و يا مستقبل لبنان : شكراً يا أبطال.

It's so easy for some of us (me included) to sit here (i.e. abroad) and pontificate on what should be done and how... I make no personal sacrifices or commitment "to the cause" (outside of limited financial... )
I salute all the FPM activists, the Tashnag activists, the ZaHle activists, the Marada activists for all your hard work, sacrifice and commitment...
The cynical part of me wants to tell you to take a break, be selfish and focus on your own future, the idealist part of me envy you for your courage, commitment and enthusiasm ... both parts of me are very grateful...and now that I'm over my disapointment from Sunday night (sorry Porka.) if any of you is coming to NYC, pm me and I'll take care of the drinks :-) | | | | | Registered Member
