actually it did, check back your history books. the USSR invaded and subjugated east europe, and the US, till this day, still bi rabb7owoun jmileh to the europeans about the liberation, especially when west-europeans (france, germany, ...) oppose US decisions (like the iraq war).

anyway, that point is irrelevant. there is no need to act like za22ifeh. get over it. it's not like qatar solved the crisis: the leaders gathered in qatar reached an agreement. maybe we should thank qatar for providing the food and entertainment for them, but i don't see what more we can thank them for.

Big THANX for Ghassan bin Jiddo

Throughout the 06 war he was with the muqawameh. And since then he's favored the opposition. He has influenced a lot how Al-Jazeera portrays Lebanon. And because of Al-Jazeera's influence, it's shaped Qatar and Prince 7amad. He's told it how it is, unlike those serpents at Al-3arabiyya, a.k.a. FTV2.

SO THANX BIN JIDDO

Can you please enlighten us about your alternative? How could this crisis be solved if it was not for Qatar? In Lebanon like the past dialogues? How?

It's true, some Lebanese never change, ma bye3jebon chi w byetzeko like you 2 are doing now. I am waiting your alternative about how this crisis could be solved.

Members here did not applaud or cheer Qatar, this thread is only a humble "thank you" message for Qatar.

Rewind back to 1998 when there was a certain army commander coming min fara7 l nas! everybody was cheering for him and he was deemed rajol l 2anoun wel mou2assaset.

Fast Forward to 2005: Fell; 3askar 3ala min, mazbalet l terikh...

It seems the Lebanese can never learn to drop their cheerleading habits...

yesterday KSA, today Qatar, tomorrow Zimbabwe...

The ironic part is that the one that opened the thread to thank Qatar has in his avatar: KSA out now!

I will be nice to you and thank Qatar for providing free room and board for Amouneh's entourage, free entertainement for Micho Mouawwad, and having made the leaders work overtime over there (until 4am)

I am not diverting the subject of the thread.

I am criticizing the cheerleading behavior of the Lebanese population, regardless of whether the recipient was Qatar, KSA, or Mau Mau...
