Why not? After all, they didn't do all this in order to secure the passage of 10.000 Wahhabis in our country. Perhaps they did it on the soul purpose of friendship and brotherhood...

In fact, at this direct moment, if you ask me what banner I would erect, thanking our leaders or thanking Qatar, what do you think my answer would be?

and you wonder what's wrong with Lebanon.

If KSA is on our side, we find excuses to erect banners thanking them.
If KSA is on the other side, we blame the ones that erected the banners.

It applies as well to Qatar, Iran, USA, France...

diabolo, the lebanese NEVER change: they always have been za22ifeh and they always liked to thank foreign countries for their (so-called) help. and they were always stay that way.

now they will applaud and cheer qatar until a new "qatar" comes up. and then they will cheer the new one.

Guys come on! A bit of openness! When the Soviet and the Americans liberated Europe from the Nazis and their proxys, most Europeans thanked them. That doesn't mean that they would become their slaves, and that didn't happen. As soon as Americans started taking their "soft power" for granted, Europe turned against it (and I'm not talking about the Iraqi invasion, I'm talking about the 1950s' already!).

Qatar opened its arms the very next day the violence started. They didn't wait 10 years to do so. and it's not like it is a country powerfull enough to come invade us. They didn't force anything on us. They didn't make us a deal "we couldn't refuse"...

In fact, GMA agreed to the agreement. If Lebanon's future was compromised because of Qatar or any other force, because of this agreement, don't you think he would have refused?

Thank you to the Qatar gouvernment and all the efforts to save Lebanon from a next civil war that George W. Bush was trying to prepare in Lebanon. Also, thank you Olmert to not step in this war (we dont need more hate from your country). I hope we will have a peacefull deal with Syria and Israel one day.

Thank you GMA and HA for representing all the lebanese citizens that were left behind from the Seniora and Hariri and Joumblat and Gaegea cantons. Thank you Bush for stating that you consider half of the lebanese population as terorists coz you showed the true face of yourself and your zionist empire.

Thank you for all Lebanese citizens to not get envolved in any war and thank you for Nessralah and Michel Aoun to be such good examples of an Lebanese middle-class citizens to represent more than 90% of the population in Lebanon that dont have castles and empires like SH, Joumbi, Bush, SG (Samir Geagea not Suicide Girls lol) and Seniora, Amine Gemayel.

One more thing guys:

I think that the Syrian occupation, along the blessing of the US and KSA, messed your ego up big time!

Since we got liberated, you started imagining a world of conspiracies, where every person or country that shows you a little bit of respect and love, becomes directly involved into it. Anyone who dares show interest in our disputes becomes a de facto "evil occupier" wannabe...

Relaxe guys... Thanking Qatar is like thanking your fellow man to change your tires: it's not always based on opportunism!
