Thank you FPM & Opposition for defending Lebanese Armenian rights

It is obvious from recent debates in Doha that one of the biggest problems facing the new election law is the issue of division of Beirut's districts in a way that gives the representation of the Lebanese - Armenians to the rightful owners: the Lebanese - Armenians themselves...

Saad wants to keep the division in a way that allows him to keep the representation of the Christians in general and the Lebanese - Armenians in particular in his hand. He wants to bring again some paid people to represent the real will of the Lebanese - Armenians.

This thread is to thank FPM and the Opposition for not giving away on this point. For keeping the right where it belongs. For giving the Christians the right to choose their true representatives. For giving the Lebanese - Armenians the right to be full Lebanese citizens and not the way Saad and Gemayel* wants them to be: second class citizens...

This is not a favor. It is everyone's duty to defend the rights of everyone for a 'fair share' if we truly want to live with each other in peace.

My friend, I did not mean that it was a favor - I just stated what I saw: people trying to eat the rights of a major constituent in Lebanon while others are standing tall to prevent this happening! And I wanted to salute those who are defending the rights of the Lebanese - Armenians because like you I believe that Lebanon is for everyone and no one should be allowed to prevent anyone from true and fair participation..
