Default Terror hits Lebanon again, the army targeted in Tripoli for the second time. - 29th September 2008

The security situation in the north, Tripoli in particular is going out of control, Nahr-al-Bared was the start, shortly followed by the daily clashes which lasted for few months and now for the second time in a row, the army was targeted.

Are we doing enough in fighting terror? Are the Salafists groups affiliated with Al Qaeda a major threat to Lebanon?

Is the terrorists attack on Syria 2 days ago and the terrorists attack on the army today in the north related to each other? or they are separate incidents?

Our army is paying the ultimate price once again, and by the look of things, it won't be the last, unless we declare war on terror and clean the country from those terrorists sells spread in the north.

I want to say to our army god be with you all especially our family in AKKAR. This area is a hub for our army. God bless all of you who are sacrificing your lives day by day for our country. Its time as we said before and no one listened for the army to go into all areas and arrest terrorists.

I think that it's time now for a serious and final clean up.

In 1976, it was the Palestinians.
In 2008, it is the Salafist Terrorists.

Is the Syrian Army going to intervene again?

As long there is impunity and criminals are set free for electoral purposes then this situation will continue.

Treat the cause, not the symptom... well treat the symptom as well but treat the cause first and foremost.
