In case you were wondering, the "جماعة الاسلامية" are now officially part of the Quatorze movement and have MPs.

Better fighting a civil war than accepting naturalization.

regarding the wilayat al fakih, don't worry. in willayat al fakih you have the right to believe and practice your believe (religion, politics,..) the waly al fakih, is the one who "iofkah" is the religion(islam) matters, so of course christian don't have to follow what he says

now regarding towtin, also don't worry because we have 2 great leaders how will crash all there dreams. as long as we have el Sayyed and el Ka2ed l General we are safe from the tawtin

yes foreigners are buying, and FPM is trying to enact laws to forbid them.
and it doesn't matter who they vote for, in 20 years, maybe there wont be anymore FM or HA or FPM, but we would still have an overcrowded country where sunnis are a majority and all other sects a minority, and lebanon will lose this diversity that is unique in the world.

there's still an issue
I totally agree that tawtin is real threat and would be the badest thing for lebanon if implemented
But the reality of the bad situation in which the palestinians live in Lebanon is also a very bad thing for Lebanon (let alone the humanitarian point of view)
It's proven that violent radicalism grows over poverty so something has to be done regarding the camps and the way palestinians live in Lebanon

let us bo honest for a moment:

90% of Sunnites are for Tawteen........i don't blame them, if the palestos were maronites maybe i would feel the same.

No what is the other sect reaction about that:
1) Shiites which are totally against tawteen are unifed under the iron leadership of Hizbullah, and armed to the teeth, they have the demographic and geographic uper hand in Lebanon, so they are safe for now.
On the other hand most of palestos camps are in the shiite south Lebanon which is a real threat to shiites.
2) Druze don't really care as long as their chouf/aley imara is free from any palestos presence, on the other hand they don't have the means millitary or demoghraphicaly to fight the tawteen. So we can say they are neutral about this issue
3) The christians have two opinion about it:
- Batrak, Geagea, Gmayel and co as much as they hate the palestos, they don't have what it takes to stop tawteen and they think that they well get their north mount lebanon and part of the christian north as their canton as a price fo accepting tawteen. Unfortunately history had proven that this plan is just a christian dream that can not be realistic because the arabs won't allow it, Bashir Gmayel arrived to the same conclusion back in the eightees and that is when he started talking about the 10,452 Km2.
- GMA, SF and co who know for a fact that the tawteen is a clear and present danger that only can be stopped by unfying all the power cards (mainly Hizbullah weopons threat to Israel)that Lebanon have, to make a good bargen when the negotiations time about the palestos destiny comes.

So the tawteen issue is mostly rleated to christians stand in Lebanon.
Now the christians are almost 50/50 between the two choices.

If the Batrak team wins, tawteen will happen but unfotunately without any partition and sooner or later the christians fate of Lebanon will be not different form other arab countries.
If GMA team wins, the international committe will be forced to find a solution for the palestos outside Lebanon in a peace deal that will give Israel eternal peace on its northen border.

Sorry it isnt our problem to live with them in the same country and its not our problem if they live in bad conditions.
Everyone still resents the PLO for the harm they brought to this country, but the Palestinians in the camps today shouldnt be forced to inherit their legacy. You cant sink to the level of the LF/Kataeb supporters who refused to show an iota of sympathy to the Gaza citizens simply because of something their ancestors did 30 some years ago. I dont like some of the Palestinians in the camps for simple reasons (refusal to relinquish their arms, support for Fatah, antagonism towards the Lebanese Army, etc.) but I still feel they need to be granted some basic rights and have their living conditions improved. That, and i'd say no to allowing them to purchase property, and a big hell no to granting them citizenship.
