Go ahead, there is nothing wrong with putting troops on their border, it is their border if they choose to close it, no?

1. boarders are NOT closed!!!! deal with it

2. Why not US mexico example! boarders are under multi-billion surveillance to stop immigration and drugs.. US would for sure send their army there if needed!
and yes if syria had no armey near boarders,, YOU (personally) will ask why does not Syria do something regarding weapon supply to HA

3. their troops is on THEIR land. and yes they opened YOU an embassy so you complain there rather making obvious media fuss.

It's called worsening of relations to a point of no return. But since our deal loyalists have been hounding at the syrian regime and accusing it of all sorts of issues, then this regime has the right to react against a hostile nation.
I like this logic a lot: we can accuse Syria of everything and even demand to topple its regime, but in no way is Syria allowed to close its borders bc after all we are neighbors. Impressive logic I might say.
Bottom line: To each action, there are consequences. When u want to talk the talk, u gotta be able to walk the walk.

Now of course, any closure of the borders should be refused since Lebanon would consequently suffocate economically.

Syria hasn't closed the borders. It has only amassed troops, for several reasons and to send several messages. The Lebanese army should also amass some troops on the other side of the border and hang out there as well.

No not at all. Its a gesture of sovereignty. It is purely ARMY business.

Is the Syrian army getting politically involved?

You're fully aware that the Syrian and Lebanese armies respectively act upon direct political orders.
