On the broader level I hope this summit leads to a unified Arabic stance regarding the US withdrawal from Iraq and the situation in Afghanistan, and Palestine of course.

You will never ever see a unified Arab stance.
For one KSA sold it's soul to the US a very long time ago and will never get it back and Syria will eventually do what's good for it!

What stance are you talking about? Similar to the one they took when Iraq was invaded or when they took a stance during the Lebanon July 2006 war or maybe when Israel was destroying Gaza just a year ago?

Kabbir 3a2lak!

...bottom line, did Syria or did it not kill former PM Rafic Hariri? Is it still in the accusation box? or that, too, was a "political accusation" (Walid bek's words)?

I've seen this SS or س.س. several times before. What the hell is it? What does it stand for?

I agree... and I find it very disturbing that we're not taking care of Pakistan too...

I think we need to make sure we devote all our and the Arab masses' energy to protect Afghanistan and Pakistan first, then we reinstate the baath regime from Tikrit in Irak, then we crown MaHmoud 3abbas as king of Nablus, then we disarm HA then we can set-up a government...

This is the agenda any true patriotic Lebanese should have. I hope the Syrian - Saoudi summit emphasizes this point, get some strong conclusions about it and then pressure the US to align... and if we need to help the US with other endeavors they have in the region, then be it... it will be for the greater good of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tikrit, Abbas and Lebanon of course
