Peace talks between syria and israel are becoming more serious, they are now directly between both countries.

Now syria will have back golan lands without any efforts , only lebanon suffered and paid , martyrs,destructions , 30 years of war ,.........when all syrian people lived in peace

Can you beleive that they were much more intelligent than lebanese people, they knew how to manipulate us, using sectarianism .................

As DI pointed out, things aren't that simple.
What drives Israel to peace with a country the magnitude of Syria or Egypt, the portion of valuables returned, may differ than that given to Lebanon or the Palestinains.
Of coarse I am referring to a Lebanon that hasn't gone through the cycle you described above! (BTW, I think that the last war is the main reason that a PM from a sharonian party will want to make peace).
