The intensity of the fighting between Amal and HA, and Amal and PSP can in no way be compared to that between LF and any other Christian or military group.

LF have deliberately bombed civilian areas that ended up killing dozens of civilians in each explosion in the "East" Beirut region. LF have systematically assassinated generals and officers through car bombs, mortar rounds, and snipers. LF have even systematically executed military prisoners of war in the worst animalistic fashion. LF have deliberately opened fire on civilians protesting. All of this did not happen among the Muslim factions you mentioned.

And after all of this you ask us why we dig old graves? And that we should forgive? When the Batrak decided to support the LF against GMA, he deservedly got the slap on the face in that infamous public humiliation act. Until today he can't forgive FPM for that, and yet, you want us to forgive those who have executed our family members in cold blood.

Elie, this is not digging ol graves, it is an unbiased review of historical facts that need a lot more than just time for people to come to terms with. LF should seriously consider renaming, rebranding, reshuffling its leadership because the people have wounds that are too deep and hurtful from them.

In the meantime, enjoy your 3 or 4 MP's that will win because that's the most you will ever get from the people.

Many of us are profoundly moved by Geagea's recurrent apologies no matter how insincere or argumentative they may be.
The man should be encouraged, for every apology is a proverbial step on his thousand mile journey towards redemption, and that man’s journey is a particularly long one.
It would seem that the unspeakable atrocities perpetrated by Geagea against the Lebanese in general and the Christians among them in particular during his illustrious career, more than warrant his apologetic disposition.
In fact, since confessions have been forthcoming, it appears that generating a list of his “trespasses” would be an exercise of biblical proportions. However, there remains the hope that the Lebanese people could somehow be spared the pain of having to hear an apology for every crime committed.
At the risk of offending Geagea's newly found Christianity, it is our belief that some crimes are unforgivable thus providing examples for future generations. We further believe that Lebanese society would best be served if Geagea just faded away sparing us all the curse of remembrance and if he feels that justice must be served, suicide is always an option.

Sleiman Franjieh is a leader in Zgharta and some other Northern towns, he does not claim to to be alla 3ala el ared, unlike Geagea, who claims he is the leader of all, in Keserwanand Zahle and batroun and and and , and we are yet to see a candidate of his in any of those districts.

As for the non FPMers, sorry to break it to you this way (please please jarrib ma tefka3), the non FPMers you are mentioning will not probably become MPs if they were not on FPM lists. They won't probably even run of they were not on FPM lists. Those non FPMers like Moukhaiber, Khazen, Abi Nasr, are all under the umbrella of FPM. The difference between GMA and Geagea is that those independents are dying to be on FPM's lists, whereas geagea is dying to have one of his candidate on any list, and the independents like Bon and Murr are refusing.

Now, I will challenge you, I want to see as many lists declared by Geagea, from Me3rab, as the ones we will see by GMA. I want to see Geagea being the "godfather" of as many lists as GMA, ONE LESS AND... again ou3a tefka3.

geagea elected 0 MPs. All of geagea MPs (suppose to be representatives of the Christians) including Bsharri MPs were elected by minority Christians and majority non-christians. I mean including bsharri MPs...so go figure
