Why did you select the Akhbar one?

Maybe Gaegae apologized for what uncontrollable LF members did. Why you assume that he apologized for a crime he did?
After all Hadad gave him gifts and the meeting was very emotional.

But let's agree with you that Al Akhbar version is the right one. Still Samir Gaegae has the guts to apologize. The innocent kids who were tore apart by the shells on the Unesco Square in Beirut are still waiting for the apology, so that they can rest in peace.

True.. maybe it was the same uncontrollable members who assassinated Karame, and the same ones who assassinated several LFers... or maybe it was those uncontrollable thugs who shot army soldiers in the head... or or or maybe just maybe it was those uncontrollable militiamen who assisted the syrians in invading the free areas on Oct 13, 1990... maybe you're right.

It's weird what a selective memory. You still can't get over these events that happened during the war. But you forgave those who shot soldiers of the same army on Oct 13 and they were the attackers (not who helped) and found 100 excuse for your general for going and spending very emotional moments in Damascus and Lattakia with them.

We forgive the occupier but can't forgive the "collaborators". Taking into account that you have no proofs that LF helped the Syrians in the invasion.

Remember that the announcement of the beginning of the liberation war started after these shells fell? Maybe Aoun was pissed because the Syrian did shell the area where their headquarter is?

That's why you shouldn't read Akhbar first!

Geagea is really dumb. How hard is it for the people to see that geagea's apology is driven by election considerations. Geagea should have apologized long time ago…not couple months before the election. The guy is dumb indeed.

we forgive everyone... but we don't stay quiet when those we are supposed to forgive turn back and accuse us of being "collaborators" and then pretend they are angels and heroes, then forget about forgiveness, and let's re-open the files so we can know the truth.
