That looks strange to me..
because when FPM becomes in good terms again with FM, LF will come and accuse OTV of being Saudi and they have this as a proof ;)

Mrs. Machnouk represents Carlos Abou Jawde's law firm on the board, she was on the board from day 1 and was appointed by the firm, she doesn't own any personal shares, the firm does.

The relationship between OTV and Mrs. Machnouk is pure professional relationship, and having her on the board is an added value for OTV, let Charles Ayoub reply to her if he dares

Mrs. Machnouk's overall performance has been excellent and I personally don't know and don't care about her political affiliation.

what do u mean by "moral"? as in one of this person's henchmen buying shares on his behalf?
As for the bank accounts, I just gave a possibility. I do not have much knowledge about the legal proceedings in these cases. But I believe the company has to check the authenticity of the money provided in exchange of the shares. It can not accept drug/weapons deal money or laundered money or anything of the sort. Also, they must make sure the money actually belongs to the person buying the shares and not to a shadow individual (who might already have shares, thus giving him indirect control over more than he is legally allowed to). So I guess they must check for the source of the money. I thought it's done by disclosing bank accounts. Maybe there's another way.

I think that she is part of the Carlos AbouJaoude law office who itself has shares in OTV (and not her directly) .
And BRW, Carlos AbouJaoude who played the middle mean between GMA and MM in 2005 has today sided 100% with MM

So what if the parent has a particular affiliation? How does that translate on the child? I know many individuals who have different political affiliation from their parents and I'm pretty sure u do as well.

Since when has it become the norm to judge people based on their parents' background? U assess the person based on his/her history and deeds. No more no less.

a moral person is a group of physical persons forming one commercial
entity e.g. a trading company, a bank, an insurance company etc....

Thanks X, now can someone tell us more about the Carlos Abou Jawde lad? I guess this is where the faux-pas started.

A child having a different political affiliation than his parents does not translate in any way on him or her. The problem is you are montolkin men mabdak that she HAS a different political affiliation than her dad.
Who told you so? What I know is that she doesn't.

I am for any LEBANESE buying shares in OTV
as long as no one group has majority shareholder.
i will be happy if sa3doun, wello and sg buys some shares.
guys, this goes to show, that we practice what we preach, OPPENESS AND TRANSPARENCY.

there is a mutual agreement between OTV & FPM , that the news section is fully run by FPM, while OTV will testasmerr FPM tv licence....
OTV has no licence..
so even if OTV is fully owned by sa3doun , the news will still be run by FPM ..

OTV is a great tool in making our voice heard loud and clear...and it will remain as such.

I am just waiting for my dividend ...
