well i dont like the fact that he is being pushed to the "wejha" by GMA as if he is preparing him to succeed him after his death.in other words he is giving him way too much exposure and preference over a lot more charismatic and competent fpmers.i liked his work in the ministry and i dont mind him getting it back however he failed miserably inside fpm on many fronts. bimokhstasar what i am hearing 2eno fi ktir khilafet 3ambitsir dekhil 2el tayyar min ta7et rasso wla2ano he is seen as "2el tofol 2el moudalal " of GMA.

I don't love or hate Jobran. I just don't see him charismatic to be a leader.
Anyway I am rather neutral towards him, I don't mind seeing him a minister or else.
But I thing he has to work more on himself.

He is a victim of propaganda, the title itself is a propaganda. Since there is not much to bash FPM with, 2ertet Feb 14th circulated and keeps circulating this rumor and what is worse is that FPMers buy it.

jibran bassil clearly lost the election in batroun not once but twice. he failed twice the gain the support of at least half of the people in his own district. And now, by insisting on becoming a minister, he is exposing GMA political credibility to all kinds of needless scrutinies that are hurting the FPM popularity. he should be gracefull like salim Aoun, and spend his time getting closer to his constituents and preparing for future rounds. he shouldn't have it both ways, why did he run in the first place if he wasn't going to bow to the will of people? he was better off avoid running for the election all together and then tried to become a minister. i would have respected him more for it.

I'd say it's due to fear of seeing FPM become a party where positions are passed down the family.

I personally judge the man by his actions, he's done a great job and he deserves his position. All respect to Basil; I wish we had more like him.

Learn to shout and scream more, that's bound to make him charismatic enough for a Lebanese leader. No negativity implied at those who shout, it's just that all our leaders scream their heads off that we can't imagine someone quiet as a leader. Not that there's need to worry anyway, he'll eventualy get there. A few more pumps in his way would make him tick, and voila.

They are all great patriotic FPMers and they worked hard for FPM!

The only difference is that Bassil is GMA's Son-in-law!! If he wasn't u wouldn't be seeing all this fuss about him!

Bassil lost batroun? True but his party won in Keserween, maten, baabda, jezzine, jbeil...

If Bassil ran in Keserween or jbeil instead of Batroun for example would he be a winner now or a loser?

So it's not about losing in ur district it's about a large party and this party with allies won 27 mps so bassil is not a loser. this is all called propaganda!!

Bassil is not charismatic unfortunately the Lebanese are used to someone with a high voice!!

GB is like any other FPMers in the party! He proved himself between all the ministers and that's another reason why they don't want him!

I heard that bassil didn't know how to manage the elections in batroun if this is true the problem can be fixed but it's not OK to attack him because simply "3amo" 2esmo Michel Aoun!
