Nassib Lahhoud had about 25000 votes in Matn during 2005 elections, you can say half the number of votes Kenaan did take.

The Patriarch didn't find it wrong to nominate him for the presidency.

But Gobran nooo he lost by a small margin, he was a successful minister, and according to the patriarch, he doesn't deserve to be a minister again.

Governments keep changing, but Nassib was supposed to be a president for 6 years.

i read all the answers and each single one is giving an example how some losers lost in the election and get appointed as ministers which all true and some of you guys attacked the FM mps and even the batrak
lol i wonder if the short memory loss and the blindness added to your brainwashing made you ignore the truth
no one ever in lebanon talked about losers except GMA he started this campaign and you clapped for him and at that time he was right because it fits you now all of you are complaining
again ma fi fa2ous w5iar honi
you started this compaign you must live with it

The last government doesn't count because it was a secondary government in the tenure of the previous parliament, that came out of the mini civil war and the Doha surrender documents, after the first government was unconstitutionally sacked by Hezbollah's militias in the streets.

In the first government after the 2005 elections were there losers in the parliamentary elections? In previous governments in Lebanon's history, (government that were formed ensuing to parliamentary elections and not government that came about later due to resignations and other events) were there elections losers appointed? I am curious to find out?

Further the "loser" concept was popularized by you, FPM and from top "GMA" regarding the issue of the president, and if it applies for presidents, why shouldn't it apply for ministers, and if you were so proud of it then why be so against it now? (p.s some claim that GMA even made the comments in relation to the 2005 government formation, although I do not have a direct source for that, so I will ignore this claim. If someone has a credible source for that please post it.)

According to you a president equals a minister, they are both equally important.

What does it matter what GMA said in 2005 or in 2007 or in 2009? You always define your own rules for your own benefit and exploit them to the maximum. You have been doing this since 1992. GMA has all the right to define whatever rule he wants and abide by whatever rule he wants and he sees well for the country as long as we live by the rule of the jungle you set up since 1992.
