FPM will NOT reach its objectives by relying on people's rational thinking... cause let's face it, the average Lebanese person is more influenced by the "sectarian" or "tribal" leader than by reason! So why should we always play the wrong strategy...

Go for it GA, nothing personal, meet with everyone and play their game.
WRONG, WRONG, and Totally WRONG. GMA should not degrade himself.
First and foremost; one must consider the lives of real patriots that have been lost over the years, property and livelihoods destroyed, and vanished dreams of innocent Lebanese, all due to direct/indirect actions of the Hariri Clan, Jounblat, Berri, and their like. Noting, the bigger vultures are their masters, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Israel and USA. Life in Lebanon cannot progress while the same criminals remain in government and not behind bars.

I have a few questions:
What’s the objective of such meeting?
Which one of them will admit committing mistakes?
Will jumblatt apologize for any wrong doing?
Will GMA learn something new about Jumblatt’s personality and intentions?
Will Jumblatt learn something he doesn’t know about GMA?
Will GMA trust anything Jumblatt promises?

If such a meeting takes place, I doubt we’ll see a single smile on GMA’s face because GMA does not fake it.
I honestly don’t see any reason for such a meeting. I don’t need to hear anything from Jumblatt. If he wants to do something constructive, he can do it without blackmailing the other side.
You won't hear any answers.
Many want this meeting to happen ''nkeyeh'' bi flen w3ilten, nothing more nothing less.

There weren't too many options really, so I voted yes:)
Obviously if GMA meets him then it will be for the benefit of Lebanon, I don't think it will be done just to take pictures! Perhaps the mouhajarin will finally get to go back home. And if Aoun meets him it doesn't mean he accepts everything he has done, it just means they are looking for common grounds that's all. Afterall, like Saad el Hariri, wheteher he is corrupt or not, a murderer or not, it doesn't matter bcoz he represents many Lebanese and we have to deal with it. Anyway Aoun never turned down any meetings with anyone it was the others who always belittled him and refused to consider him as an equal protagonist.

Let’s face it; Jumblatt’s priority is survival regardless of pride and honor. I doubt SHN three hours meeting with him changed his personality. I think GMA deserves better than facing such a hopeless man. GMA’s job is done. The idiots have spoken…
I DOUBT these 2 words existe in Jumbi's dictionary !

"Al moukhtara bawabat al cham wa ana 7arissouha .... "

"bfadil koun zebbel bi Newyork ......... "

many exemple like this can be brought as proof .

this can not be anything related to pride or honor !

Meeting with jumblat on what basis ?
he met with the batrak they shacked hands and kissed and took lots of nice pics w mousala7a w ballouta what was the result ? did the displaced found a way back to their lands and homes ? were churches rebuilt and bells back to where they belong ?

oh well of course the main result of this sort of meetings was jumbi giving his personal conclusion, a name to this sect, "jins 3atel" ... so what are we expecting from this kind of worms now ?

can we expect any thing positif from the one who never had an atom of pride or honor ?

I second your thoughts. Moreover, any meeting between GMA and Joumblat would be in the benefit of the loyalists because they will use it against us in their media.
I am sure that the same day GMA and WJ meet, a media campaign will start to milk the event to the maximum and to show that GMA acted against his principles by accepting to meet with WJ before solving the displaced problem.
Our meeting experience with the whole bunch of 14 thieves is not encouraging at all; that's why I voted against having the meeting.

no return to jabal = no meeting.

the only reason they should meet is to discuss the returnee issues and SOLVING IT IMMEDIATELY.

There should be a set of pre agreements before meeting up or else it's gonna be a useless meeting just like the ones in 'tawlit el 7iwar' hand shakes, kisses, photographs, then launching attacks at each other the minute after.
So yes GMA should meet up with jounblat if anything so no one says GMA is going '3aks el ro7 el tawifo2ieh bil balad'. give him a meeting, see what he's made of...again.
