I though Geagea and Sfeir were taking care of that problem.

For Geagea, there is no mouhajjarin issue; didn't you hear him say this? So how can he take care of something that doesn't exist

The reconciliation that the batrak did few years back with Jumblat was a fake one and big failure....only the fools believe that it was a success

So GMA should meet with Jumblat as a first step and then after the ice melts, it should be full power towards closing this file...

after all we are not like jenes el 3atel....

Quite frankly, i don't care about meetings, reconciliations, and all sort of political theatrical plays anymore.

Jins 3atil bidallo jins 3atil, Jumblatt will remain a cameleon, we (yes, me and my family) will never return to our home in shouf, as i said in a previous thread, we are seriously considering moving our noufous to Maten.

Jumblatt will prob meet with GMA, but that won't have lasting effects, we all remember how after the 2005 elections, Jumblatt tried to make peace with GMA, and Ne3metallah Abi Nasr went and met with Jumblatt as a rep of GMA, but two weeks later, rej3o yo2sfouna el jame3a...

Anywyas the Lebanese only care about the Sardine can and free tickets and tezfit tor2at two weeks prior to the elections.

Be2e ma taba2a (fair electoral law, stopping corruption, fair representation, powers to the presidency, sectarinaism, improvement of social conditions, national defense strategy, etc..) are futile details according to the Lebanese people.

You are realistic and I fully agree with you.
I’m sorry some of us have hopes that Jumblatt can make a difference.
And, I’d love for GMA to explain to us what has changed if such a meeting materialized.

As a matter of fact, I don’t believe SHN is counting on any promises Jumblatt made during their meeting. The meeting was planned before the elections with one assumption; the opposition winning two third majority and Jumblatt was assuming the same results. That’s why his barometric tone had changed before the elections. The meeting was intended to address Jumblatt as a rat. It seems to me the meeting was so lengthy because the rat had more induced energy than anticipated.
Let’s face it, why should Jumblatt be more honorable than Sfeir?..

What for ? Having a sob7iyeh ? Shaking hands before the cameras ? Playing the lebanese political show ?

I don't care that GMA talks with the filthy snake that Jumblatt is on a personal level, like in the tawlet hiwar. But I will not accept that any official meeting occurs whereas the conditions required to organize such a meeting are not met.

The only good thing Jumblatt can do is to retire from politics and to dissolve his feudal party. Eventually, let the refugees come back home and give them back their money. But we're in Lebanon, it will never happen. And we know very well the Jumblatt's and their "isolationism" since the XIXth century.

Anyway, Jumblatt can not be considered as a lebanese politician. He's a moukhtara's politician.

If one displaced family, man, woman, young man, or young woman voted for the LF or Jumblat whether in 2005 or 2009, then GMA must stop raising this issue...chouf has its deputies, let them take care of it. el Jens el 3atil baddo jens 3atil

My friend BEAST, unfortunately I know families from Bree7 who voted for Jumblat.
I know that we as Christians should forgive but it seems that some people cannot differentiate between foregiveness and masochism
