I have been considering moving back to Lebanon for good but the more I read about Lebanese politics the less motivated I get

It's our unconditional forgiveness that nurture and ensures the survival of these feudal lords such as Joumblat and others.

A few weeks to months ago, Joumblat was a traitor, an American/Israeli agent as described by SHN. What happened now? Joumblat changed gears and directions? true, but so did SHN in agreeing to meet with him. Anybody questioning either one of 'em?

In an ideal world, Joumblat should be put on trial for war crimes, degrading Maronites, displacing a whole sect from the Mountains, and refusing their return home 20 years after the war has ended. Despite all of this, people reward him by voting him into office, and not only that, strongly advocate that he MUST meet with GMA simply because, "after all, we are all Lebanese"

Shouldn't we be voting instead on whether the special tribunal for Joumblat be held in Lebanon versus Haiti? Now that is a much more honest poll, isn't it!!

Something is not adding up here folks, we reward criminals and keep suffering as a consequence. Why is that? cause "after all, we are Lebanese!"

There is a difference between meeting with a political adversary for the best interest of the whole country and meeting with an unethical spineless worm that can never keep its promise.
There is absolutely no reason to meet with someone who’s so predictably unpredictable unless he’s cornered at which time, the tiger becomes a rat.
Let’s face it; Jumblatt’s priority is survival regardless of pride and honor. I doubt SHN three hours meeting with him changed his personality. I think GMA deserves better than facing such a hopeless man. GMA’s job is done. The idiots have spoken…
