if FPM joins the goverment, it will be one of the worst desicions we have ever taken
we should stay away from a government which will be based on corruption and let the lebanese public see were FM will be taking the country

Do you think that FPM Should participate in the new government and under what conditions ?

- FPM Should participate only if the current "opposition coalition" gets the 1/3.

- FPM Should participate even without the 1/3

FPM should set the example and play "opposition" and monitor in the parliament. 1/3 veto power is no longer valid and I don't believe it will ever happen.

I'd like FPM to participate in the government, but without veto power. However, things should be smoothed over before such a move. The rhetoric of FPM ministers against Saniora and the other March 14 ministers in the current government was not healthy. You're either part of a unity government or you're not. You can't have it both ways.

inno i have mixed opinions here:

We should participate and grab our ministries and show the whole world that the ministries handled by FPM always deliver higher. but then again I think inno what for ? fight for whom and for what? at the end of the day, zahra won over gebran and all the work of gebran was not appreciated. ppl of the 3rd world country always resist change and reform for 2 reasons:

- they resist change because they are afraid for they have never tried it
- they resist reform since with reform they cant make money off the record and overcome the laws 3al lebnene

So why work and sacrifice ?

The electoral battle wasn't about reform, despite what FPM tried to portray. Bassil didn't lose because Zahra was better. He lost, because March14 were able to convince the population that the fight was between Lebanon and a Syro-Iranian agenda.

No, it is time to either follow the majority and support them, or oppose. I chose oppose and let them rule, and let us focus on our strenght the people instead of ministries.

FPM should participate, for the sake of those of those who voted FPM, i think if we get some ministries we will at least be able to accomplish part of our electoral program....
this will help us reach people who are not convinced by our vision.... it will show people that FPM is an honest hardworking party.... it will highlight the difference between us and the other parties ....it will show people how professional and progressive we are and that's what we want.

But of course we should have a number of ministers proportional to our block's size.... we must not accept any less .... as for the 1/3 issue i can't answer this at the moment it depends on the shape of the new political scene, as i am expecting it to change with new bridges being built and maybe some shifting or new coalitions being formed .... and it also depends on the willingness of all factions to give power to the president....

Oppose and focus on 2 things: building the party and exposing day and night all the corruption and the fraud...
At the end of the day, we need to make sure we let the Lebanese who voted for M14 know what they did (in French the saying goes: "leur mettre le nez dans leur caca")...
I would hope FPM becomes a large mirror, showing the Lebanese society its true image...

I think we shouldnt give up us and the 60% of christian that support us if that number is not more. C&R block is the only christian GROUP who is fighting to keep the christians in Lebanon and fighting truly for our right, why would we give up now? Do we really want to be like christians in Egypt or in Israel or even in places like the new Irak today? We shouldnt give up to support us !
