Normally, the role of the Army is defense of the state territories. This role is changing since now we Canadians are sending troops to bring peace in Afghanistan by sending the Canadian Forces to die defending peace in Afghanistan.

Thus the role of the army should be defense, and in the modern term the army could be used to bully some Afghani gangstars in the name of peace.

The only thing the Army can do is fire moudadat, gher hek, it can't do anything.

Does that mean, they should watch the resistence and keep the moudadat in stock, or does that mean, they should use their moudadat in the battle by joining the resistence defending the territories of Lebanon?

Eventhough the Lebanese patriots wish to see the army defend Lebanon, the question to address is if the army troops are themselves Lebanese patriots, or sectarian patriots?

An army should defend its citizens, even if it's with knives... Shouldn't we learn from history a little?

Why risk the Army being destroyed if we already have the Resistance? The Army should sit back and watch.

Then why spend taxpayers money to pay salaries for an army that will just sit and watch.

Spend the money on social and old age security, healthcare or agricultural development rather pay salaries from taxpayers money for bumbs.
