Should the Army fight?

in Lebanon we have about 60 thousands fine soldiers and they are not well equipped and they do not have air cover
the question here if Israel attacked the hzib
and all of us know Israel has air power more than any arabic country
should our army join the battle ?

Simply It is his role,

It is our land in which our army defends,

Western support Israel against us,

so,what we do?
Leave our land without any fight

We defend our land :

If we beat the enemy ,so to be
If we lose the battle,so we made our role in defending the land

you say thousands of soldiers, What is their job?

Unfortunately most of the soldiers join the army to get a salary. They aren't prepared to defend the country against Israel. they can face terrorism, but not a strong equipped army. Why would we put our army in the front battle if they can't face the enemy ?

Logically, what the army did in 2006 was more than enough given the current political decisions affecting its status in addition to its equipment and training.

You need it in order to keep Palestinian militias and other foreign armed elements in check in addition to keeping Lebanese armed elements and militias under relative control.

The Army, although it's not very much publicized for obvious reasons, did a tremendous job in 2006...

Besides,we must always take into consideration the safety of the Army as a whole, and the margin of manoeuvrings that it is capable of performing, and try to widen this margin as much as possible, by keeping, at least under the current circumstances,its role in the background as much discrete as possible, until it can handle much more acrobatic missions.

Yet,and no matter how or how much it should act in appearance...the spirit and letter must always be in the sense that the LA is a corp that is actively part of the confrontation with the enemy, and defense of the territory.

Unfortunatly, Israeal knows our land more than the lebanese army.

Even if they have the weapons, they should know the field of the battle.

I remember the battle against fate7 el islam, 80% of the army who joined this battle were from akkar coz they know naher el bared camp.

NB:though the lebanese army 3indo roo7 2italiyeh 3alyeh and Im proud of them.
