Our achievements are simple. The northern border of Israel has never been more quiet. The achievement from Gaza is that Hamas has stopped shooting rockets and is even stopping other militias from doing so!

Israeli existential rationale essentially requires its neighbors to be at its militaristic behest; territorial superiority itself is an overly provocative line of thought. Until you learn to recognize Lebanon as an equal and not some willing subordinate like Egypt and Jordan we'll be at odds.

For the record, I have nothing against you or your people. I met a few Jews back in school and my experience with some of them was extremely positive. I disagree with Hezbollah on many issues but I outright support them in their demand for Lebanon's respect. You can make several good-willed gestures (or moreso) by respecting our airspace & territory and taking back the refugees you left us with for 60 years, and I assure you you'll receive a more than decent response. It will substantially minimize the emotional animosity of the Lebanese people (including the Shiites) towards you and Hezbollah will be forced to follow suit (they foremost tend to consider the outlook of their popular base, without a doubt). Nobody around here wants war but until you start recognizing us as equals, that "third option" is the lesser of many evils.

The Palestinians will never return to Israel. If that means Lebanon and Israel have to fight a war every few years, that is unfortunate.

this great if the hzib can do that but the question if israel lost half its army you think in lebanon , syria and iran will any body stay alive to celebrate the hzib victory ?
