Not only! We weigh far more than you all gathered. These last 5 months prove it. FPM is giving back each community its real power. Yet, there still are lots of work to achieve.

Sleiman Franjiye was minister of Interior and Health throughout the 90's and up till 2005.

Christianity is not measurement whereas someone is "Christianer" than the other... but what X is trying to say that politicians belonging to parties supported, elected and made of Christians among others will have important ministries...

Kataeb, LF, Tashnag, Boutros Harb, Marada and FPM will have ministers regardless whether Hariri, Syria or Berri agree or not...

this is the difference... at a time when Sleiman Frangieh was minister of Health and Interior, the 14 other ministers were simple employees of Hariris or people trying hard to get Syrian approval...

think about it again.. Had GMA agreed on Ministries of education and environment, then Boutros Harb would never dream of more than "wazir Dawleh"....

Sfeir doesn't care what Christians accomplish, or how secure they feel.. all he cares about now is getting revenge and attacking GMA.

BTW how do you guys feel about yourselves that FPM is taking three actual ministries and you are giving your supposed ally only a state ministry? It was noble of SF to accept a state ministry so that Aoun would have one less demand removed and the government formation could accelerate, but for the General to give FPM 3 real ministries, and to give Marada a State Ministry is a True slap in the face to Franjiye and to all Zgertewies.
Hanna... why don't you focus on the ministry of the displaced because apparently, this is what you're getting...
also in case you didn't know, having bad relations with Jounblatt is not good when you are in charge of that ministry...
the head of the Displaced Funds Committee who has authority to question the decisions of the ministry and ammend them if needed is a PSPer. Most of the employees in that ministry are PSP...

by the way, why do you worry about Frangieh? since he's the most influential Christian competitor to Geagea... again, Geagea has not much influence outside the North and it is in your favor that the Marada don't manage an important ministry..

what is your source on LF getting Displaced? Displaced is most likely staying with PSP again. I am really surprised Aoun rejected the Displaced. After all his talk about the displaced from the chouf and fighting for their return and compensation for them and what not.. when push comes to shove he wants nothing to do with it... or using your logic, he doesn't want to antagonize Jumblat for a potential future alliance with him.

The LF on the other hand is getting Justice and Social Affairs or Labor, while Kateb are getting Education and State Ministry.

i am not sure if Justice and Social Affairs will be LF ministries... Boutros Harb seems to in line for the Justice.. at least if Hariri plans on having a good working ministers... I think Boutros Harb will be better than any LFer (zouzou Ebba) as minister of justice...

but let's wait and see what happens...

Honestly kap, it doesnt even matter which one of us gets it. 5 ministries between LF, Kataeb, and Harb and they will include Justice, Education, Social Affairs, one other minstry, and State. We will see who gets what in a few days.

X, It's bad enough that you can't get off the Patriarch's back when he does say something, now you're attacking him for what you think he will say.
.....tekhunteh......

Here's a question for you.

Are you satisfied with the current arrangement from a system, constitutional and democratic perspective?

Is such precedent a prelude to Federalism that you and the FPM were so dead against?

Here's another question, who will hold who accountable for what in this charade?
