It is your choice Sami, be wise in your decision. |
i think he already made his choice, and he's progressing on a destructive path. he already perceives the Christian presence in Lebanon and the middle east in general to be under the mercy of wilayat el faqih, something that he seems to point to in every one of his speeches.
i understand that he is young and passionate, but it is wrong to allow a war like mentality to take root in his psyche with no valid reason, especially when it seems to be progressing along a confrontational path against some other Lebanese.
the phase we are currently going through does not require any hot blooded type of leadership that rush into decisions based on superficial feelings and first level impressions; on the contrary, we are in major need for calm and strong leaderships with a deep and clear perception of regional and local geopolitical variables.
sami gemayel appeals to those who thrive for hot and fiery speeches, in other words he appeals to the emotions of the masses, not to their intellect.
i dont think there is a place for him in the political scene at the time being; he's still too young, too rash and too inexperienced.
