Many independents vote either FPM or Kataeb (less LF, usually because they hate their guts). Those independents who hate both FPM and LF, but used to like Kataeb (because of their lack of knowledge in History)... Who would they vote for?

I will deceive you... but that simply won't happen... for 4 reasons:

1- He's not able to beat FPM in Jbeil (his own stronghold).. and this is a fact!

2- EVEN Based on your Poll, He doesn't have any interest to place himself against a 18 strong MPs to gain a group of 10 Mps (that he doesn't trust anyway - remember the ministers of Lahoud..)

3- He knows that it will only serve the interest of LFers... and he hates LF more than you can even imagine ;)

4- Finally being the ally of the majority (FPM + HA), will only make him stronger ;) instead of having a small MP group (10 Mps... according to your polls)

Be realistic man... GMS will stay neutral like he always did..
to win in politics you have to be realistic.. not emotional :)

i have never come across a person who ever voted in his life for FPM
that is willing to vote for sg , even if he is against us now.
u people fail to c that this blood killer is not only hated but deeply resented .
sg can never win on his own outside becharri.
i am not talking about mp, but even a mayor he can not win outside his kaza.

i agree with you on all points except that he also hate GMA personally.
there is a lack of chemistry between them
but to be fair to him , he can tolerate FPM more than these zer2et.
anyway, being a neutral like he is, is a better and stronger position than being a partisan.
that is why u should have noticed that only few looneys from the 14feb keep talking about that scenario ( GMS vs US).
their tv and radio mouth piece have stopped mentioning the subject and even do not bother saying that thye will win jbeil or keserwan.
all they discuss now is batroun, matn and zahle soso. hehehe.
they even never mention jezzine, baabda, zgharta.they forgot they exist LOL.

1) I wish the president runs against all of them to show them a lesson.
2) Lahoud's era was different not the same as this era. The president should have a block in parliament as he has 3 ministries.
3) It will serve the interests of lebanon not the LF.
4) I don't think that GMA is with GMS. He himself wanted to become president. GMS should not stay neutral. He should choose a side. Him being neutral does not serve anyone.
