I remember a time when FPMers considered Bachir Gemayel a hero.

Pity how a strategic alliance changes everything. Pity how everybody forgets Aoun stood by Bachir and they loved each other a hell of a lot more than Geagea and Bachir did.

And to you my friend, who's avatar shows bachir and have "10452" in your nickname... The people we're "strategically" allied with are way closer to the 10452 principles than the so called inheritors of bachir's legacy (Gemayel's and LF) Bachir latest position against federalism and his famous 10452 slogan killed him... So he is still our hero, we who are still defending our 10452 lebanon instead of preaching (openly or behind closed doors) for a christian federal state...

Regards...

Are you a Christian who lived in Shar2ieh in the 80s? If so, tell us which criteria you are using to say that those days were better than ones we're living now.
Those were our darkest days, yenzakaro wma yen3ado.

That GMA worked with Bachir and was part of the secret council in the early 80s is indeed a fact.

However, you fail to see that our "strategic alliance" fits very well with Bachir Gemayel latest position. Note that Bachir Gemayel was looking for the same "strategic alliance"... just think about the MPs who voted for him and those who voted against him, then draw your conclusions.

Read again the latest Bachir Gemayel speach and read the book of Alain Ménard "Les secrets de la guerre du Liban".

You'll realize that FPM'ers didn't change despite what many people say.

I am from Metn and i knew Sami and i know some Kataeb young people who are still working with him !!!

Even if he is a wonderfull person, he represents a political dynasty that destroyed and still destroying Lebanon.
I would like to see him loose the elections But unfortunatly the lebanese people are not yet ready to let all those "chouyoukh".

regards,

Sami is still another fascist, the same as Pierre Jr, Pierre Senior, Amine, Bachir, Nadim, Solange, etc.

Sami is different than his peers in F14, not necessarily in his political path, but definitely in his political approach.

You just have to compare his reaction as the electoral results were being declared, compared to his father's reaction in 2007.

I remember many FPM supporters getting frustrated from his appearance on OTV with Dima Sadek, few days before the elections.
