As to Sami's idiology, Well, it is certainly different to what others have to offer, and is a breath of fresh air, while others have stagnated in regional affairs.

If Sami can continue in his path of inter-christian reconciliation and push forth with policies and strategies that serve Lebanon's Christian community that have been discarded and isolated from an effective role in governing Lebanon , and possibly bridge the sectarian void created , Lebanon might stand a chance.
I thought we already hit rock bottom, I see we still have some inches left to do so, that is when LEBANON'S HOPE BECOMES SAMI GEMAYEL, please someone kill me NOW.

The Gmayyels were over the moment Geagea took lead on the Christian front.

Unfortunately Lebanon has hit rock bottom.
Lebanon was created as a refuge for the displaced and oppressed Minorities in a region of intolerance.
Lebanon has hit rock bottom in the sence that the those whom Lebanon was created to protect no longer have a say in what happens in their country.

You can argue the fact that Lebanon's Christians have become a minority within Lebanon, but does that make us less worthy of playing a decisive role in running our nation.

I'm not sure if Sami Gemayel still believes in the movement he co-founded Lubnanouna but, if a semi federal state is all we are left with in which we can exercise our beliefs and freedom without the influence of others, so be it.

sami is a kid until further notice

he needs to change his star academy behavior b4 i can take him seriously

luckly for him, lebanon is full of clowns and kids and serial killers so he won't have charisma issues.

for now he needs to relax and think b4 talking.

then others would be willing to sit around with an adult to discuss serious matters.

Dear, I'd rather have Wilayet el Fakih (literally and not as joking), the Wahabbi system, and never have the LF militia in control roaming the Christian streets as they did in the past.
You do this stupid federal, semi federal, whatever you wanna call it thing, and this is what will happen all over again. The zo3ran will be back, thinking that this is THEIR state and they would have to rule it.

Well at least your honest.

I'm not sure what your confessional orientation is and it's none of my business to know, but if you are a christian who lived in the eastern district in the eighties, my question to you is, are you better off now then than you were then? And how?

i really wander what the ppl pro-federalism or semi fed or confed, think. i have few questions hope someone knows what he is talking about and can answer me

concerning taxation and spending. how is it done?
(cause if the federal government is the one that spends the income then we r still in the same place. and if each state has its own taxation, dont u think it is unfair that after 50 bil in debts only beirut is the highest city in income)

concerning mixed cities. what happens to them?

concerning our great debts. what happens to it?
.
.
.
and the list goes on...

in general how can anyone see pros in federalism in contrary to equality and improving our own system. and why dont we build our own system? do we have to copy/paste someone's else?
